Well the club have rolled the dice, I imagine that given he was clearly going at the end of the season and the players clearly needed a motivation boost then this is a last resort move. Hopefully it will prove a master stroke and Adams will be able to step down after 5 games having kept us up ready for a new manager to come in over the summer. sounds like the entire goal of this decison was to try and get the fans back on side. Both McNally and Adams talk repeatedly of how great the fans are and how much they will get behind them now.
Interesting that the statement make no reference to the length of Adams' appointment, the presser tomorrow will be interesting, my feelings will be very different if he's been given longer than 5 games.
