He can pass the ball nicely but with not enough sense of urgency. It's generally predictable stuff. Surprise isn't part of his game. And he's no athlete.
Others seem to manage. We're really not a great side in possession of the ball, but Huddlestone is a player who could help us to be one if he'd just get on the ball in more useful positions.
Agreed, we don't half give the ball away a lot. Suppose this is why it's easier with Meyler in the side as he never stops running around so he's always there as an option.
Football isnt a game, that is meant to be passed on the spot! Which generally is what Huddlestone does, the opposition love a player who passes from the spot. It's easy work. Plus Huddlestone is so far deep, if Huddlestone misplaced a pass or is caught in possession, the other team are furthur towards there goal!.... They always say never lose the ball in your own half, Huddlestone is always so far deep, this always happens and it separates the team, in half leaving jake to do alot to help out the defenders. It's all basic stuff and Bruce isn't grasping it. Which is very worrying. Hayden seems to like to get forward and when he loses the ball, often we have had time to get back and in position.
Tony good points, but my god my attention is drawn to that rather ravishing avitar you have.. hubba hubba
Rick @HullCityLive Now I know it's not down to one player but... With Huddlestone starting: P12 W4 D5 L3 PPG- 1.41 Without: P7 W6 D0 L1 PPG- 2.57
