Slot asked about where he thinks Trent and Cody will play says he has an idea where both will play in his team but he’s not going to talk to the press about it until he’s spoken to the players themselves. Two things on that, one, good for him for keeping it to himself and two, he’s obviously thought about it and has their positions already set in his plans.

I liked the way he almost dismissed Guardiola as well saying he’s obviously good but “just another manager in the league”. :emoticon-0136-giggl

I found it quite amusing that the question from Redmentv - about formation - got more of a reaction out of him than the questions from the mainstream media. He batted off most of the questions pretty well.

<peacedove> The season is just over two week to start, our new manager has lost one and won one in pre-season both by single goal. Certainly you can not judge a book by it's cover, and you can't know what it is going to happen in the season by the pre-season's result .So far we have missed the charismatic approach of the former manager Jurgen Klopp.
Do you think Arne Slot will be a success in Liverpool?
