I expect silverware from him before June 1st or it's time to replace him.

I think we can expect a busy time of it when the window opens (June 14th) and Slot is installed

I don't. I expect more selling than buying. I don't think FSG broke the bank when we got Klopp or Brendan (although that was a long time ago now)... They're not the kind to splash cash just because we have a new manager, especially with other expenses.

I doubt we get more than one big name and one "oh that guy" signing. With maybe a bargain bin surprise too.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Salah leave... But not for as much as we are hoping for. I also wouldn't be surprised if he stayed

It could be Rotterdam or anywhere

    Liverpool or Rome

    Wherever Slotty manages

    He'll never need a comb.......never need a comb

I hope we don't get too many changes - it's rarely good imo. The squad is decent enough, just needs a small number of judicious signings to address the more obvious problems. That, coupled with a fresh look, then we can hopefully tighten up the defence and get back to scoring a ****load of goals.

Arne Slot: “It is certainly not an easy decision to close the door behind you at a club where you have experienced so many wonderful moments and worked successfully with so many wonderful people.”

“But as a sportsman, an opportunity to become a head coach in the Premier League, at one of the biggest clubs in the world, is difficult to ignore. I am grateful to Feyenoord for their willingness to cooperate in this transition.”

I think you lot will need to be patient over the next few seasons, because this is a bit like your Fergie / Wenger moment. The end of an era and the transition into rebuilding a new one. It won't happen overnight, and it might not be Slot that delivers it.

I would say we have a better team left to Slot than Burnt Nose left to Moyes.

We were patient for 30 years before - don't want to be doing that again. :)

True, but you're looking at the end of Thiago, Matip and Salah. VVD is getting older and Konate looks injury prone.

That Liverpool team looks like it needs a refresh to me.
