They did actually, was draws rather than wins though but still, small gains.
Bruce got draws it was the fact we hadn't won a game fans were screaming about and rightly so, but we didn't win under Howe until after the first spend.

I don't think Steve Bruce is the bad guy he's been made out to be.. he got rinsed from day one and it never stopped even when he finished 12th in his first season when the aim was 17th.
