Howe Out

Regressed is probably a strong word but to me it seemed like early on we targeted weak positions to strengthen, in the summer it felt more like who could we get in for the price even if its a relatively stronger position for example Barnes on the left wing who I do rate.

This might of course have been budget related but it was clear to me that center back was in need of reinforcements.
Again I don’t think it was the wrong strategy. We play intense football which requires our midfielders/wingers to use a lot of energy so we bought two players to support those positions. Off we had both those players I genuinely don’t think we’d have all the defensive issues we’re now seeing.

Guess we’ll just never know

Yeah maybe mate, can only strengthen so much at a time and that reasoning makes sense I guess to me my priority would have been center back, hopefully we can get one in January.

My priority was to replace Schar <laugh> but then EH needed those upfield players and thought Schar could do it for another season.

Arsenal weren't sure and nobody else fancied him. I just don't think Howe will attract the next level of plater.

Look at Villa since they moved on from bottom feeding managers.
Rona reject that was on loan, Barca reject that was on loan…… next point?

Was thinking the same about your post <laugh>
Tell me why diaby fits in our system better than miggy or Murphy, or why kinglet fits in better than schar or Botman.

When you come up with a proper informed, factually decent argument, that doesn’t change the rules of engagement I’ll explain to you why you’re an attention seeking, milly mouthed no nowt nincompoop

You’re an NUFC criticiser not a supporter and not a fan.

You like to make out you’re qualified but I’ll take a stab and say you’ve never done a coaching badge In Your life.

You like to point out problems and come up with zero solutions.

You big up opposition but never pass on credit to NUFC.

You talk like you’re an authority in business finance and boardrooms but those of us that know, know your talking out your arse.

You spout names as if you’ve watched them regularly when in all honesty they are just a name to spout off.

Signing Diaby made as much sense as keeping ASM, he offers the exact same tactical and even less technical ability on the opposite wing without quite as much strength and flair. All pace no piss.

Lenglet is a Barca flop that got a big move too soon and too young that isn’t any better than what we have but on higher wages.

Zaniolo isn’t even a Villa player, he’s in loan.

Tielemans was looked over by every other club bigger and better and in stronger positions than villa. Showed a **** attitude at Leicester and didn’t deserve to wear the shirt.

But, surely as the next best thing to Johnny Nelson, you aren't worried, no matter how hard he is ....

I'm not worried about anything including howe being replaced. It's just what tends to happen after takeovers or just in football in general.
