Which year?Howe will be gone in a year
I think he’ll get to the summer and they will decide based on second half of this seasonWithin 12 months I feel..

The problem is I think, given time and money to replace 6-8 players which will take a few transfer windows, he will do well and win a trophyI agree I mean he deserves the benefit of the doubt over the sqaud management and poor form. It's better to see if things improve once we get everyone back and having freshened up the legs of key players.
I think it's inevitable he'll be replaced at some stage because they need to grow the brand and he's soooo super market sweep.

But has the transfer strategy regressed? In short but no one could have foreseen Barnes getting that bizarre injury and in that’s game he could have easily been the one to make the difference. Tonali would have started today and we would have looked stronger in midfield.I think he has a lot of credit in the bank and deservedly so, I think this season is a write off at this point but I'd give him next season and see how we go rotation and injury wise.
The transfer strategy needs looking at though as it seems to have regressed
Severely let down by certain players todayI'm not sure I think his style of play is the problem. I noticed Howe looking very anguished Today which tells me he's beginning to come under pressure.
If we keep losing into early February he'll be in bother.

Regressed is probably a strong word but to me it seemed like early on we targeted weak positions to strengthen, in the summer it felt more like who could we get in for the price even if its a relatively stronger position for example Barnes on the left wing who I do rate. But has the transfer strategy regressed? The strategy was right but Sod’s Law kicked in with injuries and the ban

This might of course have been budget related but it was clear to me that center back was in need of reinforcements.
Thats what I mean it seems to have gone from a targeted approach to who is availableI think Roland was right about the summer activity. Barnes and Tonali are great but those were not required as much as cbs and a right winger.
