Ho'way the Heed.

Any of you boys and girls thinking of going along to a few Heed games next year?

 

I'll be going to quite a few.

 

Think I'll have a wander down too.
Gonna get to a few more Consett games too I hope.
I have this burning wish to reconnect with the beautiful game.

 

I've been to a Consett game on a winters night and I'll tell you there'll be no burning or warm glow feeling
it had to be one of the coldest games I've been to despite the 3 goals

 

It does tend to be a bit colder in the Wild West.

 

my son and I had to resort to punching each other to get the blood circulation moving at half time (I won as he was only 14 and smaller than me at the time)

 

Look out for payback day.

 

To get back on topic, Gateshead played better and more intelligent football than we do and tend to play for each other rather than a bunch of individuals. It was really good to watch.

A hell of a lot cheaper too.

 

I'll be up for it Albert, definitely.

I'll also be up for meeting up for a couple of drinks beforehand.
