Well done cambridge. The better team and deserve it after the season they had. Always thought mills was a ****er after the york vs luton final two years ago anyway.

Well done indeed but the better team?? What were you watching? They took their chances but we on the back foot most if the game.

The Heed were extremely unlucky. After a dodgy start, they were the better team for large parts of the game. Cruel blow to have Donaldson score the decisive goal. Good luck to Cambridge though.

I watched it all. Gateshead had spells but should have at least one man sent off. I reckon Oster should have gone as well. Also the final on the whole wasn't very good. I've watched alot of Conference football these past five seasons and no matter what people tell you the standard down there is mostly complete dogshit.

Gateshead didn't do anything in the second half until they brought on JJ O Donnell from Luton Town, they scored not long after they then put the pressure on. They then got luck with Cambridge being reduced to ten men through injury.

Decent enough game, was hoping that Gateshead would win obviously but they gave it their best shot and just weren't good enough on the day.

Pity it had to be Donaldson that put the nail in their coffin.

Sorry for that AB, didn't mean to dislike post.

Cheers.

Good to see that you wanted a Geordie Club to win. <ok>

Look I explained my reasons and I believe Cambridge deserved it. There is no need to get ****y over it and just because I have a different opinion to your own I get a dislike on my post? Look, I support Newcastle and like Luton as my brother supports them. I don't support or pretend to care about anyone else.

As a Newcastle fan from York I can only say that York have every reason to have it in for Luton - apart from the fact that they rolled over and had their tummies tickled every time they faced York. The offside goal to win promotion at Wembley was pure football karma.

Ah well I'm sure most luton fans had a good laugh when they lost against fleetwood.

I've just got back from Wembley <a long day and I'm knackered>, had a great time in the ground (apart from the scoreline, obviously.....shame we couldn't turn our 64% possession into more goals but the quality was lacking in the box) and had a great time beforehand having a few pints with a few thousand other Heed Army fans.

I'm wrecked now so off to kip.

aye good on yous shame they didn't win ..they should of scored near the end 3 chances to hit the target from 6 yards out and coundnt ..says it all like ..nevermind may make them stronger for next season..

What, you mean like Gateshead getting to a Wembley final as well, whilst certain other teams seasons were like the expectations for the first world war- over by christmas. Is that what meant?

Doesn't really work Indy given the explanation is in his post.

I give you a an F- Must try harder and improve ability to read and understand information
