I was pulled over on Speke Road Liverpool driving a BMW coupe.
My son was a passenger. Copper came over and said sorry, looks like a mistake.
They’d had a message to stop two youths in a BMW.
I was about 60. I was dead chuffed.

I've only ever done it on foot. Won one having left a pub to pick up a couple of bags of, let's say, groceries in Shoreditch.
Lost one having been caught pissing in the river while drunk in Leeds. It's not easy to run with your cock still out and midflow.

Tried that once ended up falling over running and knocked myself out from a faceplant.
No chases for me, closest I've come is when I was about 17 and gave my mate a lift back to his house in my mum's car after several hours of smoking weed and getting high as a kite. It was 2 or 3 in the morning and all the way back I had to drive behind a cop car while I was stoned out of my tree and paranoid as ****. No insurance, hadn't passed my test at this point.

Just the one about 10 years ago now. We’d been out drinking in Consett when one of the group spotted one of those huge biffa bins they use out the back of shops. One of the lads decided it’d be a good a idea to jump in whilst we pushed him along. Anyway we got to the top of Blackhill bank and decided to let go... so away down the bank this massive bin goes, with poor unsuspecting victim inside, picking up pace till it eventually hit a kerb spilling the contents, human and all, everywhere. In hindsight he was lucky he wasn’t killed tbh, anyway the old bill turned up and we all legged it in different directions, seemed to take forever to shake them off but I suppose I was rather the worse for wear.
Got pulled by an unmarked police car in Czech a few times, the corrupt ****ers. First time, noticed some car getting up my backside goading me in the typical Czech passive/aggressive style. so put the foot down. They do the same so the foot goes down harder til I hit 180 km/hour + to get rid of the twat. They then put the blue light on, pull me over and try to 'fine' me. I only have about the equivalent of a tenner, 200 CZK. when they realise I have no more cash, just a card, they give up - no ticket, just a measly 200 crowns for their efforts.
Next time it happened I horsed it up the motorway, taking the next junction & place I could park up, get out the car, hide my cash in the boot and wait. They didn't turn up.
Those of us living out there realised that there was a small fleet of corrupt coppers in unmarked Audi A4s running the main motorway from Prague to Budapest.... dirty bastards.

I, like many on this board, know you from actually meeting up, not just posting on here. You're a thoroughly genuine bloke, and I am happy to back you up in an argument on here or in a punch-up at a match. Just not on that "warm glow" thread as I'm not daft enough to piss against the breeze on that one!
If anyone is wondering, I and others have travelled a long way on the basis that Smug would have a ticket for us when we reached the match. Never doubted him and he always did what he said.
Many many years ago I used to get hassled by one traffic police officer when I was riding my bike! It used to piss me off no end that he would wait at the bottom off the hill next to my house and pull me over just for his own pleasure! I was always legal and it was always a producer just to piss me off! So I sold that bike for a Black Gpz900r that had been race tuned by a Kawasaki specialist and it had a tiny number plate almost hidden under the back light. So this day I spotted him at the bottom of Durham road and decided in a split second to have some fun! Went past him and flipped him the V and gunned it up the hill! Blue lights flashing I took him on a tour of the 1231 and the highway back to my house! Parked on the drive to wait for him and he was fuming giving me all this **** bla bla bla but after another 3 cars turned up he had no evidence it was me! I eventually wrote a letter to the chief constable to complain about the harassment and a few weeks later got a full written apology from the prick of a copper and never got pulled over again! ****er

Much to my huge annoyance, when I was about 18 year old, Malcolm McDonald's mush was clagged on the billboard advertising iirc Younger's Tartan bitter (weak as piss water dishwater).
Walking past one night when I was pissed, a polis car turned up whilst I was trying my best to destroy the poster. Fortunately I had a bit a head start and was very fit in those days and managed to outrun the two coppers who seemed determined to collar me. They must have been Mags!

I was a passenger when My mate was driving the a19 north and doing around 110 coming towards the Hartlepool/Wingate turn off. They were sat on the bridge and first he knew was the lights on the cop car starting up. He floored it and took the left just after the turn off and hid in one of the drives behind a van!! The owner came out and he was honest stand he invited us in!! Then went out the front to “sweep up” some leaves! Police drove straight past. Ended up being mates with the lad for some time and even did some labouring work for him!!

Got followed until I was nearly at Norton then got pulled and used the “my wife might have gone into labour” line (wasn’t lying) ... the copper said “well I’ll make sure I’m very quick then.,,”

Not a chase, but whilst driving down the M3 back in the days when I had a nice car, I did get pulled over by an unmarked police car. I wasn't actually much over the limit, but I got a bit of a lecture before being let off with the warning, and then at the end he finished off with "you've got a very powerful car there, probably quite capable of driving well over these speeds, but don't do it on my motorway". I had to stop myself from laughing.
