Perish the thought! I thought vinegar was primarily a preservative, used to pickle shallots, gherkins etc- not as a gravy substitute?
We already have a beer and chips thread, which was adapted mainly for that very reason - but this festering grease-ridden hell hole in Long Stratton keeps occurring on totally random threads
It's just another flavour to me! Salt is also a preservative from days of yore before refrigeration reared it's ugly head, also now used as a flavouring!

That's very interesting, thanks for that Bh, I've struggled lately with my blood sugars mainly due to excessive back pain. Pain apparently causes an increase in blood sugar levels. Mind you, I don't think the chocolate helps much in my case!
So, M--day, T---day, W-----day, T----day, F--day, S----day and S--day. So any fluffing day then really? I notice there are 2 T--days, fill in the blanks with vowels, Toooday and Tooooday!!!!! yay.
On a more positive note, it looks like Pritchard might be involved in the U23 game tonight ...... Bah!
