are you sure? his brighton side were possession-obsessed. they rarely created chances. with our combination of struggling to create chances and the fact our passing is often sloppy, i fear we'd finish bottom!

honestly, there is only one manager who is currently unemployed who i might, and i emphasise the word 'might' be ok with and that would be glenn hoddle. but the fact he can't get work surely suggests that he is not really suitable. why hasn't he had work as a manager for so many years? from what i gather he is a wonderful coach but then that's all i've heard about hughton from people who work with him. zola is currently flavour of the month but remember he has had serious financial backing in terms of loans at watford. the football does look good but he didn't pull up any trees at west ham, although i do think he was harshly sacked (no more so than hughton would be if he were sacked in the near future though). i wouldn't go near the likes of di matteo, poyet or god forbid avram bloody grant in a million years. going down the foreign route with a manager who has not managed in this country before could be a masterstroke but is more likely to go tits up.

yes, but i cannot see him turning down the opportunity of a managerial role, especially in the premier league. i wouldn't really want him anyway but of those out of managerial work, he's potentially one of the better ones imo. still quite young too

Not sure on either of them, if the rumours about Poyet's sacking are true I would want him close to our club. Zola I'm not convinced by plus I doubt he'd leave Watford with their wealthy Italian owners.

I'm not sure I'm behind sacking Hughton however if he goes I'd like to see someone like Rene Mullensteen or If were really lucky Gus Hiddink. We've already invested in some very good Dutch players. Why not a Dutch manager.

I said Hiddink before. Excellent manager, probably one of the best respected in the world. Above us though, would need a very good pitch, has said that he would consider all offers though.
If it was possible we could bring him to norwich I'd have sacked lambert.

I don't think that can be entirely true - we know that there was at least another ~£8m on offer to spend on Alderweireld so there is some cash. The board has also routinely held some money back for January (though of course they may have been prepared to spend this on the right player in the summer). I would have thought there will be about £10m available for January and possibly as much as £15m.

Some of the poorest people I've ever met, struggling against unimaginable adversity, have displayed more gravitas than many of us on here. Football clubs are no different.

It also means heaviness, weight. I'm saying the weight of your attraction or argument to a manager is reduced.

It perhaps should read "our appeal lacks gravitas". You would of perhaps had a chance of understanding.
