But surely it would be the worst thing that could possibly happen to the club? After all, according to the "I know the pissing lot" brigade on here (who, as the name suggests firmly believe themselves to know the pissing lot and will NOT have their unwavering views challenged thank you very much) the only manager who is capable of doing what he is currently doing, and there is nobody else out there qualified to steer us out of this right ****ing mess he's dragging us into in the name of "progress" and "patience".

Carry on Chris, this is all of course part of the big plan so I don't know anyone could possibly be even the tiniest bit concerned by what is happening.

Just curious why you believe there is absolutely no chance he could be sacked carabuh? We have picked up 23 points out of the last 25 league games, that is relegation form, simple as that. The board have backed him heavily in the transfer market and the result looks to be we have more expensive players being asked to perform a role that they dont look comfortable with. There is no chance that Mcnally will gamble with our PL status and if he believes Hughton has lost the dressing room then he will be gone.

It's because the board have backed him financially
    he won't be sacked.

I dont see that as a valid reason, if anything it could well work against him. They have given him the biggest budget in the clubs history and he has got some good players in but is showing he is not capable of getting anywhere near the best out of these players. It also appears he has either not bothered to designate a penalty taker or the players are ignoring his instructions, im not sure which is worse!

I think everyone needs to take a long deep breath, at this time we are in the same league position as last year, CH managed to keep us out of the drop last time around, and we finished 11th.

The poster on the pink un has said that there was an emergency meeting last night minus Hughton and he has heard he has gone. Will have to wait and see.

If it is true maybe they already have their new man in mind and are just waiting to out the bits together to make as quick a change as possible.

I personally don't think he has been axed yet but poor results against Watford and Stoke and I can see it happening!
