Of course not. Words have a huge amount of history and context to them, which is why it seems a little strange to use the term lynching for a rapist who can't get a high paid, high profile, community driven job due to public opinion.

I thought they were all white women. Witches were a fancy tale of the Vatican, whipped up with the intent to drive fear into European Christian States reminding everyone of their power and destroying the evidence that their rule was built on lies.

I don't think European black people even existed in those days.

Lynch mobs often killed blacks in southern states of the USA for such crimes as looking at a white woman or very often some poor black guy was just made the scapegoat for something. In other words no offence was even committed.

Far from having nothing to do with race lynchmobs often had everything to do with race.

Turns out anyone can be subject to a lynching. The only thing thats clear is that those in the mob are beyond moronic.

Lynch-mobs always have something to do with race, it just depends which race is lynching which race. They tend not to have a preference.
 
Lynchings are surprisingly common nowadays, but they're mainly confined to places like India and China, they have absolutely nothing to do with race and every thing to do with vigilantism.
 
Hang on. Is someone seriously suggesting that lynching only applies to black people?
