Not as cheap as it used to be (but where is?) beautiful architecture, oh yes there's some beautiful architecture all right
the art nouveau buildings are absolutely beautiful, and the old town is one of the best in eastern europe and surprisingly its got quite a few neoclassical buildings
all in all in, a beautiful place
I think Brady missed the point. But yes there are some nice buildings too.
She got put on a 'priority deportation' list after all the publicity, but apparently that still takes 7-10 days.
Seems bonkers that they're paying to detain someone for weeks, just for making an innocent mistake and she wants to leave anyway.
No idea it's years since I was up there, just going by what others have said, and the fact that everywhere is more expensive now. Fairly sure it's been discussed on here before.

****s sake, I'd already booked a ticket with them for a Saturday next month. Guess I'll need to shell out again now
I wouldn't do that...Go to station on the day you're travelling, and they'll probably honour your ticket and put you on another train, ie Doncaster than a London train. Assuming you're going to London. Check if the strike is for every day for 8 weeks. Might be odd days, but they do usually strike at weekends.

I think they are successfully ****ing over any chance of overseas people travelling to World Cup 2026 in big numbers.
