Ye I agree, someone posted about Jackson possibly having to move into the middle of the park incase of injury to either Hollands or Hughes, although, this must mean he doesn't have much faith in the likes of Pritchard being able to play full games. Or Jackson is injured. Theories are such a delight :)

Chance's are CP's response will be 'I felt we could do with some added cover in the midfield areas', and so we'll all still be equally as baffled as we are now.

I agree, maybe this is a new player for the reserves/FA Cup game, although if he is as good as people say would QPR want him cup-tied and not at least on the bench in league games, an interesting one, guess we'll have to wait and see.

QPR fan here. Hogan is a great player. Bags of ability. Great distribution. Will work his socks off all game. He did a great job for us last season so i think he will be able to get into your side fairly comfortably.
Thanks for your input Elliott. I apologise for Rufus98's offensive reply (which is true to form) but we don't believe he is a genuine Charlton supporter. Probably a Millwall WUM. Strange he now thinks we will be in the Championship next season. When we lost to Stevenage a few weeks ago he was forecasting relegation for us.

My suspicion was this loan is the prelude to a permanent move as Ephraim's career was faltering at QPR but reading your post this sounds wide of the mark. Anyway I am pleased to have him because we don't have a real left-winger.

Got to be quite honest in reply to Elliott42 (thanks for your input <ok>), but with our current form Ephraim probably has a better chance of getting into the QPR starting 11 rather than the Charlton one. Regardless however, this truly is a great signing, he contributed to the QPR promotion push in the league above us, and so if anything (at his age), he should be playing at an even higher level.

Excuse me; how the hell was my response 'offensive'?? You need to get a life!

Most QPR I know, would've had him in the squad.
He's got a fantastic attitude and is a good(if a bit lightweight) player, hope it works out<ok>

I checked there the minute I saw the first post here and it was already there. As anyone can insert total crap into Wikipedia pages I wonder if that was the source of the rumour (hoax?) and the press picked it up from there?

Are you not convinced it's happening yet?
He's replied to everyone wishing good luck at Charlton with:

@HoganEphraim
Hogan Ephraim
Cheers everybody for the messages - means a lot!

I've heard he has signed on loan even though it's not been officially confirmed by either club, and it looks like we were sold a kipper regarding Parrett

Anyone else think that maybe a championship club has shown some interest? - this situation seems very odd as his twitter seems to suggest its a done deal but nothing from either club.

Its on sky now... http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12040/7303942/Ephraim-set-for-Charlton-loan

Skysports.com understands QPR's Hogan Ephraim is poised to join Charlton Athletic on loan.

The 23-year-old attacker has been out in the cold this season at Loftus Road after being omitted from Rangers' 25-man squad at the beginning of the campaign.

Neil Warnock is expected to waive any fee for Ephraim, so keen is he for the former West Ham youngster to get first-team football.

Ephraim is set to join the Addicks on a short-term deal until January as they look to bolster their squad for the League One promotion push.

He scored three goals in 29 appearances last term as QPR clinched promotion from the Championship and had interested Crystal Palace earlier in the season.
