Hobbs is a great signing for you. He is an all round top defender at this level. The only problem I have ever had with him is sometimes he is too soft and lacks a threat in the opposition box, but defensively he is one of the best defenders in this league
Yeah, I expected him to say how Hull was a Schithole and how he didn't really want to leave Lester.

Good signing, looked a better player then Gerrard towards the end of last season, but i think that was more down to the fact that Hobbs was fighting to sign for us. Him and Chester next year look a solid pair to me, however if we can get Ayala i would not complain!

Why is it after reading each of your posts, you get that "patronised" feeling?
Hobbs is an all round top defender AT THIS LEVEL. The inference being that Lester don't want him because they are better than this level and we aren't.
This Superior attitude is somewhat strange coming from a fan of a Club that not so long ago "cheated" their way to promotion after jettisoning £50m worth of debt. I'm sure your "Kid in Sweetshop" attitude to the current spending spree would not be shared by the small local traders that lost millions thanks to your clubs record breaking inpropriety.
We at Hull City have had debt problems also. But for the grace of Allah we might also be deep in the world of CVAs and "10p in the £". But I'd like to thing we would be cured of the rather unattractive condition of "We're a bigger and better Club than you!"

Unfair. Hobbs is a good defender at this level and not at any higher level because he's never played any higher. The guy is just stating it how it is.

The point remains; Hobbs, like any footballer today (notwithstanding local heros such as Nick and Deano) , couldn't care less about the Clubs that pay their exhorbitant wages. Comments such as "what a great Club Hull City is" actually makes me quite nausious. It's in the same parish as kissing the badge; it's disrespectful and insults the intelligence of "some" fans. Those that fall for it tend to be the "hard-of-thinking".

Im not saying he isnt good enough for the prem as he has never played their, a few games for Liverpool and that was it. I think he will be good enough for the prem but he isnt ready yet maybe another season at this level and he will be ready
