Toledo's post challenged earlier comments and his views doesn't agree with Bonstar's, so he attacked him. I have no problem with that, but don't try to make it out as something it isn't.

The fact is that there are some who only post happy thoughts, some who only post negative thoughts and some who mix it up a bit. The first 2 types can be justifiably labelled 'blinkered'. However, as this is supposed to be a board for supporters, it stands to reason that those that only ever post negatively are going to get more stick than most.

Much to his credit, Batmoaner seems to take less umbrage at his detractors comments than some others appear to do on his behalf.

I think everyone should just drop all the silly "outraged of Islington" stuff and carry on posting. If anyone is offended by another poster, PM them and try to resolve it. If that fails, take it up the chain for refereeing.

I for one will continue to use the like/dislike/rep buttons as I see fit. I will call you a **** if I think you are one and am quite ready to receive as good as I get. Remember, there is a filter, but you will have to ask the global mod to add the really nasty words like 'idiot' that seem to have slipped through the censor's net

We all have sensitive spots. Mine is being falsely accused (tags?) but even worse are the sheeple who join in with those ****tards and can't be arsed to check the facts first (tags again?).

'Thrown to the lions' seems a bit much - it's a legitimate counter argument. Can any of us really say what steps the club are taking regarding transfers, and how hard they are working at it? No doubt plenty of us have an opinion on the matter, but mines is that we simply don't know.

The major problem is we have very little to debate.

This seems about right. It's been long enough since the football season ended, and now we're all getting impatient. People have turned to writing essays about how much they dislike other people, or they're trying to continue arguments that should have died down already . I for one will just dislike posts like that in future. Regardless, this pettiness isn't going to go down well with anyone, so more people get involved, and before you know it there's a RIOT! Time for a socialist revolution.

There really is no debate on this board any more, it's all sniping or pages of comments of fake anger and in jokes.

Anyone who questions what the club are doing, or why they aren't making progress is thrown to the lions with "you don't know what the club are doing!"

There are a few genuinely interesting posters on here who's opinions I look out for and respect, like TheBear & SJW, but unfortunately they are so few & far between.

Toledo just wrote 5 full paragraphs with absolutely no point other than to make fun of other posters, some of whom have concern about the slow progress of the club in the transfer window and its implications for next season and the ability to mount a title challenge. And you wonder why people have left.

Oh come on, I am often accused of having no sense of humour, but your post had very little debate in it either. You told us that we needed to make signings before the tour otherwise Arsenal's transfer window was a disaster. I was trying to be funny, and yes taking a bit of a shot, but honestly, it was intended in the spirit of debate. I thought you would find that preferable to what I really thought about what you posted, but oh well.

You want respect? Then stop making ludicrous statements about perfectly normal situations, and claiming they are the result of Wenger or the club not knowing what they are doing. If we don't sign anyone big in the window, have at it, I will be just as disappointed as you. But no sane person can expect selling clubs to sell top stars early in the window, just because it would be convenient for the buying club.

What are you on about, PSF's are all about getting match fit,the passing ,etc is done pre-season ,before the tours,Monreal,Carzola,and Paulinho will be alright,and Wenger can't stop his players,if called up for their national side

Paulinho will be fine, cool your jets. He would have been rested anyway, because it is mid-season in Brazil. The reason he was transferred early in the window (for us) is because their window closes on 20th July.

I'll try and be a bit more obvious when I am insulting Spurs, or Bale your monkey mascot.

COYG I thanked you for your post, but I do want to point out that at no point did I actually attack anyone personally in the original post. I stayed on topic, was very sarcastic and ridiculed his point of view, but I did not make a personal attack in any way.

Only when I was falsely accused of it in the hypocritical attack on me, by Arsegun and Wandit, did I make the reply insulting them. After all I might as well be shot for being a sheep, as for being a lamb.
