I've commented on this guy before.
Vastly over-rated IMHO. His stats are dreadful. Celtic can't seem to decide where to play him. He wanders all over the pitch, and doesn't seem to have the ability to play a position. Dropped off and on towards the end of the season by Celtic because they had better players. Picks up a lot of cards.
I would be shocked if we are interested in him. If we are, he will need a season in the reserves.
If Celtic get 12M for him they will be laughing their heads off.

An Italian journalist called Tancredi Palmeri who writes for Gazetta Dello Sport has Tweeted that if you can still find decent odds on Higuain joining Arsenal then run and put your money on it.

Have to agree that with Tevez off to Juventus it puts us in a better position for the Higuain transfer. With Juventus previously our reported rivals for Higuains signature and them landing a top quality striker, it seems likely that we are the next destination for Higuain. Coupled with Ancelloti being appointed RM manager, we might see movement on this story soon!
Can't wait to see what comes out over the next few days. Might we see a signing on the first day of the transfer window? I'd love to have signings in place to get a proper pre-season with the team.

... and reputation. David Marshall did a similar thing for Celtic vs. Barca back in the day as a 19-year old and was praised to high heaven for it. He's currently at Cardiff - no mean feat - but he didn't exactly turn out to be the world beater that he was touted as at the time.
My new worry about us signing Higuain is that we might now face competition from Chelsea and Man City for his signature, what with them also needing a new forward and also both not getting any closer to signing Cavani. City especially worry me because they have the money and also have a few Argentina players in their squad.
