Not recently - but if I had I certainly would have taken some pics - could you share a few of yours for those less well travelled?
I've been to Somalia three times. It must be said that Mogadishu is a pretty desperate place. It is on a par with Ethiopia and Sudan for levels of poverty and inequality.
Having said that, the Palms was a delightful place to stay and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful.
