Welcome on board Mansfield. Marco is still a big favourite of Bald's too!
Legend mate, had the pleasure of meeting him when i was a nipper and my mates dad used to work for Sunderland borough council and used to get VIP days inside one of the boxes at Roker
Proper surreal having a chat with Monty then getting introduced to Marco, was proper star struck and didnt know what to say!
Nice to meet you Bald mate
They reckon Marco tried horse riding, the instructor said grip with you thighs, he cut the horse in two.
You really are a massive tool.
Just been on the general chat board, where the senior members hang out. Moderation is coming soon...
Ha ha! I reckon he had bigger thighs than Roberto Carlos and thats saying something! Apparantley he now runs a succesful B&B in York city centre with his wife, can still see him now running onto the ball and drilling it into the corner- what a player!
Hello there Bilbo, just because you dont live up there it dosent mean that you aint a mackem and proud of it! Welcome
hello mansfield_mackem.this site looks ok and i was getting a bit frustratedwith the mad mods of the bbc i used to be dickmalonespecial on 606.
Hi Sanddancer, its funny because i know all your names just never had the bottle to start putting comments up incase you get bleeding shot down!! Its nice to meet you mate
I'm CwmbranMackem on 606.
The story of why I support Sunderland is a long one, but I've definitely clocked up some mileage over the past 20 years.
If there happens to be anyone local to the South Wales area who fancy's carpooling/training it together in the future (not in a gay way), get in touch!
We're going from Mansfield to Villa on the 30th.
We can sort out a ticket if you'd like to go ....... just pay for your share of the fuel and you're in.
are you lost?
****ing hell mate, you've dug deep into the forum to offer that gesture fella. Do you know him? Hope the lad is still following the board. Cracking gesture.
Force of habit mate.
I used to run a 45 seater coach, from Mansfield, to very home & away game during the late 70's/early 80's.
I've always tried to help anyone to get to see the Lads and have sorted tickets for loads of strangers ...... I'm mates with one of the Villa directors so should be canny for tickets for that one.
I've always believed in the decency of Sunderland supporters.
I'm going to the Chelsea league match, after Villa, and will be staying with an old BBC606 lad, Gordon Armstrong, who's putting us up and sorting out the tickets.
Him and his lass have been here on holiday and we really rolled out the red carpet for them.
We're all in it together mate and we should never forget that. I don't know the lad but will always do anything to get a few more Sunderland to every game.

I've met him for a couple of beers, and he's a good lad... I've tried loads of times to get him back on here, but he was having none of it..
I remember Gordon, vaguely. Where does he post now?
Your a top bloke Smug.
He was on JA606 for a while I believe.
He posts on the JA 606 site. I think he is about the only Sunderland fan that does so apart from when I pop on from time to time to keep in touch with him..
Wow! That looks freakishly like the BBC 606 site.
