Set pieces should offer the biggest goal return, either directly or indirectly; but our lack of height limits our options and expands that of the opposition. The point is not that we are doing okay with Hobbits but that we are doing okay despite them. There will always be a concern that the balance of a in-form team will be compromised, but the additional goals and dominence would be a very fair trade-off!

How tall was Stuart Elliott 5"10 or so best ive seen in the air for city!

He was outstanding in the air and he was 5' 10", but Barmby's nearly as good and he's only 5'7".

what frustrates me about corners, is were not the tallest which is fair enough, but we dont even try and vary the delivery, its just tossed in the air every time, we could work it short and work a shooting position, or just drill the ball in hard and low and try and get a touch that way..

When Chester was at Carlisle on loan he scored some goals, is that just because the defending in the Championship is better than is the first division or did he get forward more?

if my memory serves me right, he scored a header for us against leeds at the kc last season..from a whipped in corner with pace, ..with the right ball in you dont hav to be tall, as mentioned above, we just keep floating the same ball in, either too short at the front post, or far too long.

Normal deliveries high into the box wont and are not working I agree to play it short or drill it low and hard.

OLM - Barmby is another one superb in the air.
