Exactly. So why would he do that? He's not going to do it for the hell of it so he must have a reason. It might not make sense to the people who don't work with the players everyday in training but it will make sense to the people who do.

**** knows makes no sense to me at all just like some of mowbrays decisions near the end of his time here.

" ... our most unpopular manager in 140 years."

Nothing personal but I keep seeing these definitive statements ...

... followed by an instant backtrack when challenged.

It's gone from definitely the worst in everyone's lifetime to one of the worst in yours within two posts.

Moyes was way more unpopular and there's probably a dozen more I could easily name.

Does this fella ring any bells <doh>

"Still a hate figure among many supporters, after his arrival was expected to signal Sunderland’s return to former glories, only to leave them on the brink of relegation to the third tier of English football."
I’ve not had me breakfast no need for that

Aye.
He's been here 5 weeks and is already pushing the last throw of the dice buttons - he'll be gone in 10 weeks max - can't manage at all. Mcmenemy was a huge disappointment but that's coz he had won an fa cup and overachieved at saints before coming to safc.

Beale is just very quickly mimicking his worst spell at rangers - no wonder nobody wants the fool at safc despite his media spin/lies.

He got it bang on today, shame that as a result this thread is quiet.

Balance.

Plenty being said before the game, this* for example.

For the record this* is a typical example of the endless digs at anyone trying to KTF and be optimistic ...

... but, after the game, we all have to be polite and play nicely together.

Well, fck that ... you reap what you sow.

"Everything all fine n dandy at the club though.
Some still genuinely believe that. We’re a ****ing mess."

If things were perfect it wouldn’t be Sunderland mate.

At 43, I’m not ready for the main constant in my life to change.

Ha’way the ‘turmoil’ <laugh>

No,Dodds hasn't got a mole on his cheek and it's Speakman's fault for appointing him! Let's go for him!

People wanted a change in how the team was performing and they got it that’s the best we’ve played for months and I’m over the moon.

but **** me because people were moaning about how **** we were doesn’t make them bad people.

I’ll just enjoy the win and look forward to the next one without trying to look all smug and slag people off for not thinking the same as me.

Or look all smug and blame Michael Beale for everything before today.
Not in a million years do I think we’ve turned the corner but he’s always deserved the chance that some wouldn’t give him.

It doesn't make them bad people at all. Some of the stuff that has been said by a very small number of people wasn't on at all though.
