To be fair the Trust represents its members not the array of people who use various message boards (although some will be both of course) and so they should be engaging through their own channels really ... And do

That used to be their claim, but when Geoff took over he explicitly said he was widening it to ALL fans. In that respect, they don't really engage.

We get individual ordinary members commenting, and the odd person off the board, who is generally defensive.

I see nothing wrong in having a more open discussion with fans on forums like this, or on any other opportunity. It's one of the main criticisms of the club that they don't engage.

It could just help people have a feeling of being part of something at the club, rather than just a loose collection of individuals.

I think the lack of dialogue is a factor in why some won't join.

Well they shouldn't
I pay for the privilege of them speaking to me ;)

You're just trying to create an issue where there is none.

When there was a Trust director responding to every post on here, you argued the toss about everything he said, it's no wonder no-one else fancies taking it on. It's pointless, you'll just talk in riddles, then tell them that they're not superior enough to understand what you're saying.

I'm not, and attempts to divert it with personal arguments like the don't help, in fact they're part of the problem.

There are no riddles. The confusion tends to stem from people being defensive, rather than looking at opportunities to grow.

Quick question.
What happened to Assem and why has the hate shifted to Ehab? I always got the impression from you lot that Assem was the **** and that Ehab wasn't actually that bad.

What happened to change that?

He's taken a back seat due to serious illness.

Would threads about the Trust be a lot more focussed and productive if both of this message board's moderators agreed to not post on them?

Yes.

I frankly tend to ignore any threads where DMD starts to take over as it is utterly pointless. I know what will happen and occur and yep, 10 pages of ****e later, there it is.

If you read, I don't try to take over. I ask a question or make point, then others divert it and try to make it personal, like you and several posts before have just done, and the other thread linked demonstrates.

It rarely gets to a decent discussion because of those divertions.
