This sums us up as a club and fan base perfectly. What other way would Hull City do it?

All in all its going go to be a day of negative chants, that's all we accomplish. I will be amongst that. If we can organise a decent organised protest I shall join that. I shall be going for a beer at 1904 wether he gets my money or not it's a sat away from our lass and they sell booze lol

OLM said the HCST should be releasing some information soon which will put to rest some of the silly ideas being banded around.

It's been shown on FB to leave at 1904 and come back at HT. Can we organise something better for the ones who won't agree. Albeit I think come Saturday word will spread and it will be acknowledged. But to me what care will they (ALLAMS OR FA) take to it?

It's bloody daft. It kicks off at 12:30. Everyone will be long gone by 19:04.

There's several problems with that which those organising it aren't addressing.

One of the reasons why people are going against them is because some of those TELLING people to leave at 19:04 aren't even attending the game and that got some people's backs up.

I agree with you. We need something that's a more uniting protest.

Keep it simple. At 1904, why not everybody stand up and turn their backs on the pitch. It needn't be for very long. ( and if you're desperate to keep an eye on the game, you could always borrow your lass's make-up mirror. Just don't get the powder on yourself. It looks bad.

You can get 3 man elastic catapults on ebay, they shoot things like water bombs incredibly far. Could make up a load of water bombs with Allam out banners tied to the back catapulted over the roof.

Part of the problem is that people have ended up just sat waiting to be told what the protest is, rather than being involved in what form it takes etc.

If people aren't involved, they're less likely to feel United and part of the process. It also risks missing some good ideas.

Everybody has had an opportunity to make suggestions.

Some just decided to mutter vaguely portentous statements instead, as if they were in possession of some higher knowledge that they were unable to share, whilst simultaneously insisting they must be given the opportunity to do just that; essentially using an awful lot of words to say precisely nothing.

And some do nothing but just whine and get defensive about wrongly perceived slights.

    Funny old world ain't it.

I happen to know the Trust have received a massive amount of correspondence with suggestions of protest ideas, many of which will no doubt be implemented in the coming months if this sale doesn't materialise.

That more helps makes the point.

What's wrong with someone from the trust having a bit of dialogue and open discussion with supporters on threads like these?

I don't mean an argument or some sort of bizarre adversarial exchange, but an open, inclusive chat on ways of moving things forward.

    Fan involvement, it's the future.

A Trust director has posted on this thread and despite your repeated claims to the contrary, nobody has stifled any debate on anything.

On the specific point about protesting, there are many suggestions that if they were to be considered, couldn't possibly be openly discussed, or they'd be prevented from happening.

As a protest I'm not going to get my face painted like a tiger as I usually do. Nor am I going to wear my tiger skin leggings, my tigers rain mac or take my foam hands. That'll show 'em.

To be fair the Trust represents its members not the array of people who use various message boards (although some will be both of course) and so they should be engaging through their own channels really ... And do

This was tried previously & failed. It didn't work. This isn't the platform for such discussions.
