Totally agree this needs to be a coordinate protest. But it also needs to be one that attracts the global media. Invasion of the pitch is not a good idea but something that maybe delays kick off and if we can delay the start of the second half as well would be good. **** up Sky's schedule. A walk out to the concourse at 19:04 till maybe 20:10 another good idea and of course keep up the volume on the Allam out chants. We have of course to get behind the team as well.

I would suggest that a sit in after the game would be the most effective way to protest. Any post match comment or interviews would be subject to the background noise and chants etc. The stewards are pretty lightweight anyway so maybe the rozzers would get involved to get us out. A stadium full of peaceful but vocal protesters is going to make the news surely.

You're assuming that they're going to be broadcasting from the KCOM, do we have any confirmation that this is the case?

They're supposed to be. I've been told Saturday and Sunday games will be live from the ground whilst Friday and Mondays will be studio based.

Sky's official press release for their Premier League coverage will be released Monday so hopefully we know more then.

Thought the game was on TV?
He means will Sky actually present from the game or from their studio.

If from the ground, a sit in would be seen post-match during their analysis meaning it'd need speaking about. If studio based, there's only a potential they will beam back images of what's happening.

Can't be certain but the first game of the new season with the reigning champions playing a team in turmoil would be too good to not broadcast from the ground live.

Edit. Especially when we beat them.

I'm organising a sit in when the games on and a walk out when its finished. Well I say finish I mean 85 minutes

85 minutes? You will be late for your tea, held up in jams behind those who left earlier. Long way to Hessle, East Hull etc...

Sky presented their opening game last season from the SNF studio so who knows?

I still think it's a goer though as national media will be there. i.e 5 Live ,Talk Sport etc. Staying put for an hour or so will be no problem as the game will have finished at about 14.30. Sports coverage will just be gearing up for the 3.00 kick offs.

There will be more press/media there than normal as the opening game of the Premier League season. It's a great platform for a protest.

What's really daft is that there is no common agreement as to what it is the HCST is actually protesting about. Is it the membership scheme? Is it the lack of a Manager? Is it the lack of signings? Is it simply that some people hate the Allams with such venom that they will protest regardless? Or is it just to get on TV?

I want to go and watch and support my team & I'm going to have to put up with a group of people going off on a half-cocked protest for a variety of individual reasons. To those who say it will not affect the team's performance then I say you are talking rubbish - of course it will.

I am no Allam apologist - I have experienced far better owners and far worse owners - but apart from the time when I was actually locked out of the ground by David "bastard" Lloyd I wouldn't dream of protesting during a football game just to get myself on TV.

I expect to get the usual abusive comments & drivel posted in response (water off a ducks back) but I'm seriously pissed off by my excitement at a brand new season kicking off being dampened by a group of so called "fans" simply making matters worse.

That's because you're a ****er. <ok>

And it's a protest against the actions of the owners.

This is why a sit in AFTER the game has ended is the best idea. From the very kick-off our sole objective should be to support and encourage the team on the pitch.

Quite a few times during red card protests etc - the team won - so your half arsed argument holds no ground

You are quite simply a selfish individual who only cares about themselves - the only owner who 'annoyed' you was the one who locked you out - it appears that you don't care for the welfare of your fellow fans & don't' care about the essence of the club - it's pointless with you , you & the allems deserve each other

And all it will achieve is to harden the Allams resolve against the protest group. The harder one side pushes the harder the other side pushes back. The only people to suffer are the team and all the other supporters.

Don't protest and they'll think it's all hunky dory, do protest and you 'upset' them.
'The protest group' has the same concerns as the HDM and RH, and an increasing number of national journalists who are belatedly waking up to the rotten state of our club. and the utter inept and vindictive (non)management of it.
There must only be a handful of wretched pro Allam ****s left: people who are loathe to open their eyes and see the disastrous mess of their **** stewardship of our club.

Increasing speculation Phelan may get the gig as no one will touch Polo Guy with a barge pole no matter how much money he tries to bribe them with.
Great.
Well done Ehaw. Waste weeks failing to get a manager and recruit players, then decide the manager was already in the building.

What a ****.
