Just a thought. Back in the day, not an awfully long time ago, we used to have a certain player with 7 on his back. He had a portly figure, dressed in red (no, not that one) a fair beak on him, and a great footballing gift. However, really quite often, he didn't seem terribly up for it and had a poor game. That continued throughout his career, but we never questioned whether he'd given up.

2) he repaid the fee back over three years, so why don't we judge Ramirez after that amount of time instead of three months of playing time? Bearing in mind he had a very serious injury.

Oh dear oh dear! Saints today were rubbish. Puncheon looked more like the player of old indecisive, slow of thought and distribution. Their we're other players out of sort and we played poorly and never looked likely to score. Also Mayuka clearly wasn't ready to start. I do wish Gaston would shoot more
