One thing that wont happen as far as I am concerned and that is reading posts like this. We have freedom of choice in this country and I have made use of this by not going to home games. It is a self imposed exile and the choice is simply mine and mine alone. I don't need any one like you telling me that I am wrong and should return to the fold. My gripe is with the owners and what they have done to the fan base. I havnt bawled out the fans that continue to go to home games. I respect their choice but seemingly you like to deride those like me who have the opposite view. Get a grip mate, we all make choices that are right for ourselves.

Spot on. You don't need to justify, with your supporting record, yourself to others.

I've come home from work in a right foul mood so if you're reading this Mr. Ehab Allam,

Just **** off and let us all get back to supporting "OUR GREAT CLUB.......HULL CITY AFC"

Feel a bit better now, but not much, the spoilt Egyptian CSM.

It's all about you, isn't it?
What about the other missing thousands?
Have they never supported through adversity before? Did they boycott Fish, Buchanan, etc?
Some people are forever finding reasons not to attend.
I suppose it's our rich trophy-laden history that makes so many people picky about attending.

I stated last week that it seems that many have been ground down, I have, ground down, bored and thoroughly disheartened by the whole disgraceful farce surrounding the situation at OUR football club. The current guardians are a shocking example of what can happen when what turn out to be the wrong sort of people are entrusted with a spell of ownership. Sadly, you never know at the outset how things will pan out though.

I beg to differ on your last point

Yes, there are thousands of others. I know loads who are not going and ask yourself why. The simple answer is the allams. They have driven a good 7000 people away. There were 5000 less seasons last season and a good 2000 havnt joined this so called membership scheme. So no, it isn't all about me. But I will tell you something for nothing, It is people like you that drive people away because of ridiculous comments that you have made. Many of these are long time City supporters. You know the ones, those that have been through all the shyte and still kept going. Simple fact is that the vast majority of those staying away are doing do because they are decent folk who refuse to be treated like dirt. The allams have devided fan against fan like no others before them. When previous owners have let this club of ours go to the dogs fans rallied round as one against them. None of them devided the fans as the allams have done and this has made thousands turn away. Yes, they have turned away when we are in the top division, that's how strongly they feel. That's the only reason people are staying away because they are not prepared to put up with the allams rubbish any more. Time you opened your eyes to it and realised it. They don't need excuses for staying away.

Regardless of the Allams or anbody else, some responsibility needs to be accepted by the fanbase (or at least those supporters who have stopped going).

Less sulking/boycotting, more supporting.

Away tickets capped at £30 and almost never selling out, why is this?

They were like hens's teeth a few years back and people were moaning they couldn't get any.

Where are those fans now?

After my self imposed exile which lasted for the Leicester game I now find myself driving to Bournemouth on Saturday. Remarkable turnaround? Not really, I find myself thinking I care less nowadays (I'm going because my son asked to go). The way I feel is solely down to the pair of selfish egotistical ****ers we have as owners. Problem is I don't think they are going anywhere and I'm not sure what we will get next anyway so I am beginning to think what does it matter. Expect to see the club run into the ground

Most of those still going hate the Allams and can see what damage they have done.
But we support Hull City not Allamhouse.

Give it a rest

Some people who have been going for years have chosen not to go while the As are here, some families who'd love to go have been priced out, some people who might waver and go occasionally have chosen not to go for the same reasons, some people refused to go and be booed by their fellow fans when they protested and some people who came as a Premier League 'fan' before have decided that they've ticked that off their list so won't bother. Oh and new young people to replace all those people who've left by coming with their mates (in the normal cycle of these things that keep crowds up when people leave for all sorts of reasons, including those sadly leaving this mortal coil) have been priced out
most of those reasons (apart from those that came for one PL season and got bored) can be traced directly back to decisions taken by the As
Keep going, but don't moan about others who've chosen not to. Whether the same people chose to go under previous regimes is irrelevant (if they don't now then they obviously feel stronger now which is very telling)...and quite frankly is nothing to do do with you (unless of course you booed other City fans, in which case you might be responsible for some vacant seats)
Enjoy the games, don't worry about what others choose to do
