Yeah I got into this group through following a local band in the early 70s
Lucus Tyson did some great covers
Split cherry red etc etc great times

Lucas Tyson were class like. Think I might have mentioned it before but a lad called Day Ditchburn in Talisman amongst others was a superb vocalist

I would say I'm very ecleptic with my music but I cannot get away with rock/metal, each to they own and that but I know a lot of people love it so it must just be me that's odd.

Same with the ecleptic here, however, lately, (mid 30s), I've been right into ACDC and Metallica (whisky in the jar on repeat), that got me into Thin Lizzy. Mate of my was into all the new rock of the early 2000s, was never really a fan but if I hear any now it gives my a nostalgia hit. Green day,Disturbed (great cover of sound of silence), Good Charlotte etc. Music triggers nostalgia so theres no escape.lol

Liked that cover - apparently Paul Simon approved as well

Speaking off a cracking cover

GnR touring Australia end of next year. Always managed to miss them back in the 80s/90s but I’ll be getting the tickets when they go on sale.

I know the title is metal, so sorry to high Jack, but music is music. Just recently discovered something called "New Retro Wave", it's modern musicians knocking out pure 80s music. One called "Call me" by Lebrock is class. Ended up going going down a rabbit hole on Amazon music. Loads of artists at it and theres some great sounding stuff out there buried by mainstream. Miley,Weeknd etc all getting praise when it's been around long before they were at it. It's not for all, but if you like 80s, have a look. We only play classical in the Continental
