West Ham are reported to have agreed a fee in the region of 14-15 million for Carroll.

If Pardew does want to sign him he'd better move fast. I would say if we make a move for him then that would be a big indication that Pardew is set to stay on as our manager.

Hammers sign Carrol and let Carlton Cole go on a free you see where I`M coming from here please dont let my thoughts come true

Not really up to Pardew. Mike won't be paying that sort of fee. He'll think he can get the two strikers we need and probably still be paying less wages than what we would for Carroll. I like Carroll and would like to see him back but there are some big financial barriers in the way. We'll go the risky route and gamble on the players we sign coming good.

It's to early for us to sign anyone everyone knows we wait till the last few days of the window to come up with the normal crap "we were unlucky but lost out sadly on our targets"
Or they have to be french with no passion or care for the club (in general)
Carroll would be the ideal start in the window which means we are not depended on cisse who is pony and also Carroll would give us some grit back.
Sadly fat mile is happy for us to be has Beens and staying up is the only goal with the cockney muppet still getting paid to do the job badly

We agreed a deal with Liverpool when we loaned him, the question is will Carroll be willing to come to us on a perm deal.

This is the permanent deal mate for around £15 mill.

EDIT - see what you mean now.

we'll see if all this ****e about getting players in, is in fact ****e, just to sell season tickets

Pardew says he would welcome him back
I'm sure the fans would welcome him back (not sure about Saylor though)
Lambsarse defended him after he made him the villan in wanting the transfer in the first place

we'll just have to see if Ashley has got the balls to pay top money

Cant see it happening at all, Ashley wont pay 15 million for one player. I hope this means HBA wont be going to the dippers. I couldn't stomach another player going there to "further" their career. <doh>

Is it time for you lot to speak to Andy, tell him to not accept, and put in a bid?

This immediate talk of signings and contract re-negotiations straight after the season has just finished is laughable.

What sense does it make for any footballer to agree to any of it? Even if you want the move or want to stay, they employ agents to keep the clubs dangling and wangle the best deal possible.

Which player isn't going to make interested parties sweat through the summer for a few extra 'K' a week?

This.
You would assume anywhere Carroll moves is going to see a pay cut. So why not spend a month off, then a months light training, then a months negotiating whilst on 80k a week and add the possibility of a decent pay off from Liverpool because they're bricking another seasons top pay come August 31st.
Unless of course they say here's three months pay to go now (on top of any contract percentage) and we can focus on our new signings. Carragher is going to have freed up a few quid.

I would take him back for 15. I really hope we get him. but sadly I can see him going elsewhere

Anyway, it seems that rumours Arsenal were after him are unfounded.

Arsenal have reportedly tabled a £24.5 million bid for Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetić.

Arsène Wenger has long admired the Monetenegro international, who scored 13 goals in 31 appearances for the Viola last season.

The 23-year-old's agent, Fali Ramadani, is reportedly in London to finalise a deal after the Gunners triggered Jovetić's release clause.

Seems they've found Fali Ramadani is more to their liking.
