19 games, 19 points. If we replicate this for the remainder of the season we will finish with 38pts and Will that be enough to stay up.

We need to be brave and thankfully there is a transfer window a week away.

So, half term reports.

Who has been our best player?

Who is getting too much game time?

Who is not getting enough game time?

Room for improvement?

Has Gabbiadini got a future at saints?

Best moment?

Worst moment?

Give us something positive for the 2nd half of the season.
 
There was a transfer window last summer too though. And the January before that. And the summer before that.
 
So, half term reports.

Who has been our best player? Hard to say, no one has been overly consistent. I'll probably give it to Austin as he's scoring goals.

Who is getting too much game time? Redmond/Davis

Who is not getting enough game time? Any of Pierre/Gabbi/Boufal

Room for improvement? Specific players or in general? Both cases then yes.

Has Gabbiadini got a future at saints? Suspect not, dependant on the new manager of course but had a strange feeling with it for a while now.

Best moment? For me personally? Austins equaliser at Bournemouth

Worst moment? Wouldn't say there's a stand out worst moment, more just a muchness of collective ****e.

Give us something positive for the 2nd half of the season. FA Cup tie at a great ground to play at - hopefully a new manager and some new signings.

Best player - Boufal

Too much game time - No one, really

Not enough game time - PEH

Room for improvement - **** yes

Gabbiadini - No idea. Hope so. We need him, especially now Charlie is injured

Best moment - Boufal's goal vs W. Brom

Worst moment - On a personal note, me completely losing it and nearly coming to blows with a bunch of boo-boys after the Burnley game. One of them had the cheek to say "I've been coming for two years, that entitles me to boo if I want to". They weren't young guys btw.
 
Who has been our best player? Stuart Taylor

Who is getting too much game time? Redmond, Davis

Who is not getting enough game time? Boufal, PEH, Gabbiadini

Room for improvement? You could fit the Grand Canyon into the room there is for improvement

Has Gabbiadini got a future at saints? He should have, but I doubt it

Best moment? Kick off at the Swansea game.

Worst moment? Everything after the kick off at the Swansea game

Give us something positive for the 2nd half of the season. The sacking of Pellegrino

Who is getting too much game time? - Forster, Davis

Who is not getting enough game time? - Boufal

Room for improvement? - Yes, need to find some form soon, though we are potentially nowhere near as good as people will have you believe

Has Gabbiadini got a future at saints? - No

Best moment? - Boufal against West Brom

Worst moment? - Seeing a couple of our players doing one of those handshakes Spurs do

Give us something positive for the 2nd half of the season. - We will stay up, and have the hilarity of watching some major **** ups/meltdowns along the way

Austin was scoring last season too, before injury ended it. I'd suggest though that he's missing many more chances this time around. Not a good sign.

Good point on PEH. Would just be nice if he'd actually get picked on a regular basis.
 
Who has been our best player? Charlie Austin. Much maligned but has turned himself and our season so far around. Without him we would be Swansea

Who is getting too much game time? Redmond without a doubt. He'd have been dropped by every side in the PL by this point.

Who is not getting enough game time? VVD. Chronically overlooked for most of the season. Also every u23 who can score a goal or find a forwards pass.

Room for improvement? Massive over-hauling required.

Has Gabbiadini got a future at saints? I hope so. We need to get shot of a lot of other baggage and keep the potential gold. I believe he's a really good player.

Best moment? When we finally turned it around putting four past the most woefully miserable Everton side I've ever seen.

Worst moment? 10 days later when our turnaround returned to norm and we shipped 4 to Leicester in the most woefully miserable saints performance I've seen for a loooong time.

Tom, you say to sack Pellegrino, but who could we honestly get? Who's available?

Who has been our best player? = Maya for effort.

Who is getting too much game time? = Nathan would be the popular choice

Who is not getting enough game time? = Hojpoj

Room for improvement? = The whole of the Changing Room.

Has Gabbiadini got a future at saints? = Doesn't look good, if we can't get any replacements he will have to stay.

Best moment? = Boufals solo goal against WBA.

Worst moment? = Final whistle of the Leicester game.

Give us something positive for the 2nd half of the season. = We buy a couple of gems in strategic positions that turn everything around and we finish 17th or above.
 


Who has been our best player? No one. Couple of them weren't that bad (Austin, Cedric..)

Who is getting too much game time? My top three are Redmond, then Redmond, and then a battle between Redmond and Davis for the third spot.

Who is not getting enough game time? Hojbjerg, Boufal, Gabbiadini.

Room for improvement? Massive. Most players have regressed under Pellegrino and we have no clear identity or settled way of playing

Has Gabbiadini got a future at saints? Possibly, if we hire a manager who will know how to utilize him.

Best moment? Win against Everton

Worst moment? Loss against Liecester

Give us something positive for the 2nd half of the season. We hopefully won't have Pellegrino as manager.

Who is getting too much game time? = Tadic

Who is not getting enough game time? = Boufal

Room for improvement? = Yes

Has Gabbiadini got a future at saints? = Body language doesn't look good......so no.

Best moment? = Boufals solo goal against WBA.

Worst moment? = Ran out of pies at the Utd game.

Give us something positive for the 2nd half of the season. = We need to turn a corner and silence the boo boys if that means manager/player changes.......so be it.

The 20 players we should have signed in the last few windows to replace the now bang average or worse players that make up the squad

**** yeah, everybody

I doubt it, he strikes me as a wide player forced to play centrally

Best player? Austin, where would we be without his goals?

Too much time? Redmond Redmond Redmond.

Not enough game time? Boufal/Holeyojoybeareregg

Room for improvement? Everyone bar Cedric/Austin.

Gabbiadini? Not unless we have a manager capable of understanding tactics of attacking.

Best moment? Everton.

Worst moment? Most of our games. West Brom I think.

Positives? Austin, pEH, boufal hitting form, jwp forcing his way in. If we lose our next 2 the board may take action.
 
Who has been our best player? Austin/Bertrand

Who is getting too much game time? Tadic

Who is not getting enough game time? Gabbiadini and Austin together - Play 2 strikers once in a while

Room for improvement? Everyone especially the manager. Can only see improvement once he has gone i'm afraid.

Has Gabbiadini got a future at saints? Not with this manager, although Austin's injury/suspension may give him another chance. Clearly not effective in the current formation.

Best moment? Everton win - last minute penalty against West Ham was a nice moment of relief.

Worst moment? Walking through the turnstiles at St Marys - not an enjoyable experience this season. Leicester game was diabolical - Liverpool away was pathetic also.

Give us something positive for the 2nd half of the season. New Year, New manager - one can hope. But there are other poor teams in this division thankfully.
