I don’t think any of the Tranmere fans who got selfies with Kane and other Spurs see it that way.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich could have bought Arsenal rather than the Blues 16 years ago but was mistakenly told the Gunners were not for sale by Swiss bankers. (Sun on Sunday)

Doctor Who : Dein / Hill-Wood OUT !!! :)
Uncle Roman was also linked with buying us, but the Chavs scraping a top four spot sealed the deal

And that, Levy Out mob, is why qualifying for the CL is far more important than winning a cup

The Standard's 'Tottenham' page features a large picture of Chelsea's RLC (no relation to our RCL, I presume?).

Below that picture is a smaller one of Chelsea target Edinson Cavani, then there's a picture of....Chelsea target Gonzalo Higuain............followed by a picture of United's Romelu Lukaku.

The first Spurs-centred feature is the 5th one, on our 'own' ****ing page..........<laugh>

After German international, Leroy Sane went on as substitute, to score their 7th goal against Rotherham, instead of a youngster, I presume that Rodney will be alleging the same lack of class about his former employers, Manchester City?

NO......? <laugh> Rodney, you big tart.

Two leagues above Tranmere. Computer says : nope. < Narrative - TM >

The Wail claims that Eriksen wants us to double his £70k wages to stay
The Independent claims that £250k a week is what it will take

Well I know that at least one of them is going to be wrong...

You have to laugh when you see the words "Independent" and "250K/week"
on the same line.

It's less funny when you realise the workaround I had to use to get past the Indy's demands I whitelist their page

From the BBC website's story on Mousa Dembele's impending departure...

"Chairman Daniel Levy is keen to trim players from manager Mauricio Pochettino's squad."

It's not that the poor bloke's done physically, isn't capable of playing on in the PL, can leave for nothing in July and we're being offered £11m for him......?

Nah,.........it's Levy. <laugh>

"Give us a monkey, mate, and I'll chuck in Lucas Moura."

Another from the HBBC, this time Phil McNulty, just spouting crap...

"There is still currency in winning a trophy, however, and success here would go some way towards bolstering Pochettino's reputation as he remains without silverware, for all his good work..."

<laugh>
"Bolstering Pochettino's reputation"...? He's got United and Real Madrid begging him to be their manager. <laugh>

What a load of shoite!

I wonder what one has to do to earn 250,000 per week. Please enlighten me,I'm just a working class stiff!!!!!

Be decent at football and playing for a top 4-5 team in your
domestic league, and then be coveted by a club that is :

1. a domestic rival
2. an overseas club bigger than you
3. the domestic rival of any club in 2

That seems to work from what I can see.

Actually I was thinking of Ericson.Great when he is on song but disappears in some games and doesn't turn up in others.

Which reminds me.....I wonder what the great John White would be worth today. They called him "the ghost" because he went about his business with no fuss and was never still...…...causing all kinds of havoc to the opposition.
