JJ wasn't exactly a wasted talent by any means, but IMHO he failed to acheive the level of his promise. Sounds like he was if the same opinion.

My memories of him are positive generally, although my long-suffering no-football interest, wife was convinced his name was 'Jenas Uwanka' based on my constant screaming at the TV......<laugh>

He was certainly the designated lightning rod in the team for a while, at least in games where the likes of Bentley, Stalteri or Naughton weren't on the pitch
 
Where does Jenas fit into this? or does he start a category of his own for the almost good but generally underwhelming?
