Lawro writing about Liverpool v Roma

The way Liverpool ripped Roma apart at Anfield was unlike any football I have ever known.

I have thought the same about Premier League champions Manchester City at times this season, in that they have been playing so well that it does not seem real.

So, it's unlike any he's seen......except Man City.

Meanwhile, at the BBC...

It's hardly the only example of Rajan being a turd, either - a few weeks back, in the face of a wave of criticism of the BBC revisiting Enoch Powell's Rivers of Blood speech, he went full dickhead by claiming that any and all criticism of the BBC revisiting Enoch Powell's Rivers of Blood speech was by people being easily offended for the sake of it who hadn't bothered to do their research as they would have known it would be broken up by talking heads discussing the points and offering criticism

It was very quickly pointed out to him that maybe he should've read the listing for the broadcast, which as Media Editor he probably should have, as it failed to make it clear that would be the case

BBC London saying Chelsky could be really f**ked
if that Khan guy does buy Wembley : he has allegedly
said it would not be practical for an NFL franchise and
football club to share the same ground.

Well, not if you don't have a retractable pitch in your stadium ...

Today's Grauniad contains a piece stating that we're going to have to sell players due to the cost of WHL2 ballooning from £400m to £850m

I'm sure Levy's been on the phone to them already...

Grauniad online readers :

To save you the angst of screaming a few months down
the line WTF you are seeing N articles per week about the
glory that is new WHL, please bookmark the above article.

You know when somebody is so wound up that they're incapable of writing a coherent sentence and instead sound like they're flinging random words into the ether?

Here's the front page of today's Daily Wail...

Saltypool blog Rush The Kop has a headline stating Spurs fans wishing they had Klopp after Champions League win

Somehow they forgot to back this up by providing as much as a solitary tweet from a Spurs fan suggesting this, but they did contain tweets from the official Saltypool Twitter as well as a Saltypool fan feed.

The Sun would be proud...

That is almost tempting finishing 5th in the PL
and losing the CL final to Madrid.

Good news for them is that rcl has not said the
above will not happen ... yet.

I'd like to say how tickled I am,tickled mrs!!!! that they would dare mention Spurs and Klopp in the same breath! WHERE'S ME SHIRT? I CAN"T GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT ME SHIRT!

I am loving how the hacks have avoided any reference to the possibility of us finishing above ‘Pool!

The closest I’ve seen them get to it is them stating that Chavs could finish above us or ‘Pool.

That’s it!

I couldn't help but notice the Narrative yesterday's Standard tried pushing: the FA Cup semi loss is what derailed our season.

They failed to explain the ****e performances against Stoke, Brighton and the the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Team that preceded the FA Cup semi, but I'm sure that was an honest error by their writers and definitely not a case of having a headline and needing to fit the story to match it...
