And as was pointed out in a later Tweet, even if this wasn’t just for only giving out an award to an apprentice, not an endorsement of the Group, it was also 3 years ago before the company issued any profits warnings. <doh>

The government are desperate to divert the focus away from their own mal-administration. For example, highlighting that many Cariilion contracts were given by Labour. Yep - that’s right, at least 7 or 8 years ago when the company was solvent. Trouble is, the general Political rule now on both sides of the Atlantic is that if you shout lies loud enough and often enough then the general population are too thick to understand the difference or are too disinterested to care.

Metro are reporting (via Mundo Deportivo, which in turn is via Sports Witness) that Moronho has contacted Los Ladrones and recommended they hire Poch as their next manager

Given how keen Los Ladrones were to get the Portuguese Albert Steptoe out of the door, the likelihood of anyone at the club listening to anything he says is about the same as Lionel Messi arriving to his first day of training at Tranmere Rovers tomorrow on the back of his stegosaurus.

It does say a lot that The Sun, the Mail and all manner of blogs are making so much out of Malcom's...sorry, Tottenham Target Malcom's dive (yes, he appears to have changed his name by deed poll...) yet there's countless displays of blatant cheating this weekend they've clearly ignored - such as Patrick Cutrone's "header" against Lazio

I must have left the radio on TalkSPORT on Sunday morning. I switched it on for about 5 seconds expecting to hear music only to get Durham say....

"Why don't Spurs put a £60m bid for Mahrez? Don't tell me they haven't got the money."

...before I could switch it off again.

Why on earth do people listen to that ****? It's like reading The Star for informed political debate whilst buying The Observer for the nipple count.

The exchange on Alderweireld was slightly weird. Asked if he was available he said no but when asked if it was fitness he wouldn't answer. Sure it got lost in translation (literally) but slightly strange.

I think that it might be because he was annoyed at the journalist, having gone over it again.
He said earlier in the presser that he wasn't fit, then got asked again.
Did come across rather strangely though, didn't it? Hope it's nothing else.
