Trump has screwed everything up.He obviously wants to be dictator Trump answering to nobody......which he is doing now!
Not so much Hack Watch as Easily Led Twat Watch, but Dutch satirical sports paper De Speld reported that PSV told Ajax that, if they made any attempt to sign Steven Bergwijn, they would sign Lucas Moura - so of course r/soccer bought it hook, line and sinker...
Thankfully no credible journalist has fallen for the story Squawka, on the other hand...https://www.squawka.com/en/news/psv-ajax-nemesis-lucas-spurs-man-utd-steven-bergwijn
After years of articles stating "Tottenham need to win silverware to go to the next level.".......Now, the "Winning silverware could be the beginning of the end for Tottenham" articles start to appear...... https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/mauricio-pochettino-promise-tottenham-vs-liverpool-danny-rose/ .......****ing idiots.
Obviously the solution is to finish second in every competition, just to be safe We've already managed that in the league...
Also known as Ballacking it up. Had a great career but came runner-up in four trophies in two different seasons. 2001/02 with Leverkusen (League, Cup, Champions League) and Germany (World Cup). 2007/08 with Chelsea (League, League Cup, Champions League) and Germany (Euros). Won five league titles and six domestic cups, though.
This twat tried to write an article about antisemitic abuse in the cup final on the weekend. The only problem? There wasn't any. https://inews.co.uk/opinion/champio...nham-hotspur-liverpool-antisemitism-yid-army/ What's his solution? Edit out his criticism of Liverpool's nonexistent hissing and continue some victim blaming, instead. ****er.
If I was in govt, there would be laws forcing online forms of press articles to have the editing history as the FIRST text in the article. not the last. I would also consider (for the big press companies) mandating a "diff" function tied to the edit history (so the reader can visibly see what has been added/changed/removed between each version) .
According to him, the issue of anti-semitism is over as far as our home games is concerned... "Rival fans have in the past made hissing noises at Tottenham fans (a vile reference to gas chambers)." Just one of many laughable lies/inaccuracies in this nonsense piece. His brother Martin is a very good broadcaster, this bloke's just a twat.
Doesn't sound like there was any trouble, rather bizarrely. Only four reported arrests, which is hard to believe.
Odd headline I spotted yesterday: If Spurs don't reduce their £30m asking price for Kieran Trippier, Man Utd will drop their interest and spend double that on Aaron Wan Bissaka I can't remember the last time I thought something was a rip-off so immediately went off to pay twice as much somewhere else to show them who was boss...
I wouldn't pay £30m for Trippier. £60m is a little high for Wan Bissaka as he is inexperienced but you can see the potential there to be a £60m+ player.
There were stories of Spanish Police charging innocent Spurs fans. Unlikely that the Police will arrest themselves.
Tony Cascarino with one hell of a brainfart, saying that we should've started Lucas on Saturday...instead of Harry Winks, because as we all know a 4141 formation won't be unbalanced at all In other news, Dean Saunders has gone full Holte Bellends...
The phrase "Villa would be where Chelsea are now if Abramovich went there instead!" belongs on the No **** Sherlock thread. Nothing special about Chelsea other than 100's of millions of pounds invested. Accrington Stanley would flourish with that windfall.
