B2W I wasn't on about some lavish laminated Pannini-type sticker, it was more of a post-it note type thing that would probably wash off in the first shower of rain. Would probably get swept up with the rest of the aftermatch crap anyway. I agree about the squash balls though, each one is technically a missile and therefore the thrower could receive a lifetime ban if caught. Getting dragged out of E1 by a steward is only going to inflame the crowd and potentially make it all kick-off. Did you see Millwall last saturday?
Cheers for clearing that up Mr blackandambergambler. The easily removable post it note is a much better idea. I am aware of what happened at Millwall on Saturday.
Chazz Rheinhold, this was the thread I took a cut and paste from. Interesting to note that after the first protest, our owner confirmed his position with this article yet the second protest only attracted approximately one third of the number of the first one. The first protest was defined by a small number of protestors calling non protestors cxxts as they passed by, some with their children I might add. As this group ambled along chanting about how they pay the bills I couldn't help thinking how much they reminded me of a bunch of anti-capitalist rabble. The McShane song with its altered words for the name change may not of been a good idea either. Not all football club owners would see the humour in having a potential riot on their hands. The second protest was called at short notice by the 'Ulltras. A small demographic amongst the city support and generally disliked due to their perceived support of smoke flares etc. "No pyro no party" as some of then have been known to state. I'm not even sure if many of the 'Ulltras bothered turning up. These sort of actions are counter productive in my opinion and will only cause our owner to harden his stance. Those who oppose the name change should think long and hard how they go about it, their actions have implications and repercussions for the rest of us.
It may of been a two way thing. The name calling by protestors was reported on here and witnessed by others, if some Hull City fans decided to start calling you cxxts, then I feel for you. How unfair.
