Best Driver: Jenson Button - would have gone for Alonso but I thought Jenson fought superbly to get in contention for the race win.
Worst Driver: Sebastian Grosjean - terrible weekend all round. He doesn't do decent. Either good or terrible.
Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Ricciardo
Best Team: Sauber
Worst Team: Williams - didn't register at all this weekend.
Best Overtake: Easy one this. Michael Schumacher on Nico Hulkenberg.
Funniest-moment: Fernando Alonso's interview on the podium. Largely disliked previously for being petulant and moaning too much, but the last couple of years has shown a mature, wise and very likeable man. And he's all the better for it because he's driving on as high a performance not seen since Schumacher a decade back.
Most Surprising Result: Sauber's strong drive
Least Surprising Result: Alonso superb once more
Special Mention to:
Race Rating: 7/10
Best Commentator overall: Ben Edwards. Watched Sky and liked Brundle as ever but was let down by "Crofty". Generally felt no warmth from the Sky coverage though and very little insight for such a long programme. Tedious, but I do like Johnny Herbert

You've got the wrong Grosjean mate <laugh> No wonder he was poor this weekend, too focussed on playing tennis.

Best Driver: Alonso
Worst Driver: Grosjean
Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Pic (outclassed his team mate at his home GP)
Best Team: Mclaren
Worst Team: Williams
Best Overtake: Raikkonen on schumi
Funniest-moment: Hamilton... Lets just retire
Most Surprising Result: Hamilton unlapping himself on Vettel
Least Surprising Result: Massa back to ****
Special Mention to: Schumacher.. He had some fight in him
Race Rating: 7/10

Best Commentator overall:

 • Best Driver: Kobayashi. I only give it to race winners when it is obvious that the driver was the deciding factor.
 • Worst Driver: Maldonado. Explicitly ban him from shunting drivers off the road, and you expose him for the talentless racer that he is.
 • Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Pic
 • Best Team: McLaren. Forcing Hamilton to race got Button second place, in my opinion.
 • Worst Team: Red Bull. The Vettel incident was clear cut, and the team could have salvaged a podium with a quicker call.
 • Best Overtake: Hamilton on Vettel. Sure, Kimi or Kamui probably deserve this award more. But it spiced up the race, and Vettel's post-race comments are as close to him being rattled as I can remember.
 • Funniest-moment: "I think I should retire."
 • Most Surprising Result: Kobayashi 4th.
 • Least Surprising Result: Maldonado crap.
 • Special Mention to: Pic for winning that little battle at the back
 • Race Rating: 8/10 Not one that screams out "watch me again", but I didn't feel bored while watching.

Best Driver: Kobayashi - Solid drive. Has a point to prove this second half of the season.
Worst Driver: Grosjean - Was hoping for something like what happened at Silverstone. Very bad race for Romain.
Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Ricciardo
Best Team: McLaren - Upgrades seem to have revitalized them. Strong pit-crew performance, too.
Worst Team: Williams - Probably the drivers more than the team. But it all adds up to a poor weekend. I can see Bottas taking Senna's seat pretty soon.
Best Overtake: Kimi on Di Resta - Maybe I'm biased but that was a hell of a sequence. Props to Paul for keeping a fair racing line. Kimi's best overtake since his return.
Funniest-moment: Hamilton overtaking Vettel
Most Surprising Result: Jenson Button - Welcome back?
Least Surprising Result: Alonso
Special Mention to: Sauber - Double points, a solid weekend for one of my favourite driver combos.
Race Rating: 7/10

 • Best Driver: Alonso, drove a faultless race, and didnt crack under any pressure
 • Worst Driver: Grosjean, no middle ground with this guy
 • Best Rookie:Pic
 • Best Team: Mclaren, Upgrades package working nicely
 • Worst Team:Williams
 • Best Overtake:Hamilton on Vettel was sweet
 • Funniest-moment:Hamilton wanting to retire
 • Most Surprising Result:Button's form returns
 • Least Surprising Result:Lotus fail to Qualify near front end
 • Special Mention to:Mclaren pit boys
 • Race Rating: 7.5/10
 • Best Commentator overall:Brundle, he doesnt face much competition with his fellow sky commentator

 • Best Driver: Button and Alonso ! – Button for doing everything he possibly could. Alonso for peerless race-management.
 • Worst Driver: [edited to three equally]: Senna/Grosjean/Massa.
 • Best Rookie: Pic.
 • Best Team: Sauber.
 • Worst Team: Williams.
 • Best Overtake: Raikkonen on di Resta.
 • Funniest-moment: Vettel getting rattled with Hamilton's unlapping. His driving was further evidence of stress when trying to keep up with Button, until the latter's tyres went off. And then the silly boy deliberately drove off the track to pass a car with terrible tyres! –I feel that Alonso would have appreciated the bigger picture…
 • Most Surprising Result: No strategic error from McLaren.
 • Least Surprising Result: Alonso's race management.
 • Special Mention to: Hamilton: you need to work on your starts!
 • Race Rating: 7.852/10
 • Best Commentator overall: Ben Edwards. No contest.

Cant see how anyone can look past Grosjean for the worst driver. Only one without an excuse for this race. He must be begining to approach Maldonado's crash total.

Best Driver: Alonso, for his unfaltering top notch performance
Worst Driver: Senna or Massa
Best Rookie: Pic.
Best Team: Sauber.
Worst Team: Williams.
Best Overtake: Raikkonen on di Resta.
Funniest-moment: The amount of fans that had mullets and moustaches
Most Surprising Result: Button podium
Least Surprising Result: RBR trying to justify Vettel overtake
Special Mention to: Hamilton: McLaren for their pitstops.
Race Rating: 7.5/10
Best Commentator overall: Ben Edwards

 • Best Driver: Kamui
 • Worst Driver: Massa
 • Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Pic
 • Best Team: Sauber
 • Worst Team:Williams, early season promise seems to have evaporated
 • Best Overtake: Raikonnens cheeky one on hulk (or Di resta, can't remember which one FI was)
 • Funniest-moment: max whiplashs 'rim management' gag, made me laugh
 • Most Surprising Result: Button on the podium
 • Least Surprising Result: eternalMSC having a hissy fit and insulting people
 • Special Mention to: Rosberg for getting points after starting near the back.
 • Race Rating: 7/10
 • Best Commentator overall:

Kamui's a popular driver and he had a good race but 'best driver', really? Certainly, he needed a good result and he got one but 'best'? Only for his fans, I think.

Yes. Oddly enough, I returned to this thread, simply to edit my post (above) to include him!
