Did the one thing we would all give our right arm for - to play for the club we all love, not just once but twice. Hope he enjoys his retirement and stays in the game somehow. Think he would a good addition to any academy to train and show the kids coming through how to behave as a professional

Cracking pro. SAFC through and through but stepped up for ‘Boro to take a penalty against us at the SoL. Always gave his all for every side he played for.

You have to respect the lads constant professionalism. Even when it came to putting one of the nails in our relegation coffin while playing for Middlesbrough so to speak. Had a job to do and done it. Great servant to the club. It'll not be the last we see of him at Sunderland imo.
