pardo tried to get danny to sign for them the minute laudrup allowed danny to go back home,, he refused as he agreed to martins offer......pardo was gutted...![]()
Pardew has nothing to do with our transfers so the credibility of what your saying is suspect. I dont belive we were in form him but thats just my opinion. The type of player he is for a start is not what we were after. It doesn't matter anyway. Leaves you lot a bit light him leaving.
The type of player you were looking for? Please elaborate further..
Some one who can play wide right of a front three or in the centre which is why we were in for remy and why we signed gouffran.

So these players are only to be found in France? I admire your philosophy of shopping abroad and the sell on value if its a success but Danny Graham, albeit a plain name has made a name for himself as a goal scorer, team player and more than anything a renowned Newcastle fan, has he not? So wouldn't it have crossed the eyes of the board to bid for a player a seventh of the price you sold Andy Carroll to both replace Ba and wear the no9 shirt as the local hero (in dire straits terms)?
Alreet Jarra ower lad. Who the ****s this goofy character?

Alright mate.
He's not going to pull up any tress but should offer us more than Obertan. Was playing as a striker in France but has played as a winger for the majority of his time in France. Only the last 18 months or so where he has played up top. Probably our most underwhelming signing but at the price and making our squad a bit stronger there is little risk in it.
Haway get some beer doon ya neck man! He's ****e!
There is no room for sentiment in there. Pardew nailed it in an interview where he said that we get better value for our pound by shopping abroad. On a personal note, I would of had graham, but I have never once thought the club had a concrete interest in him. We wanted a remy mould striker for his diversity. Having graham would be no different to having shola. Before you jump on me I don't mean ability wise I mean the way graham would play at Newcastle. Graham is by far the better player. Shola can only play in one position for us and that's what graham would be doing. For the life of me I can't see what our conveyor belt of managers see in shola but he is always in and around things no matter who we have on our books. We need more than just another front man which is what graham would of been for us.

That's a fair answer and assement. Credit there mate![]()
I reckon he will do well for Sunderland like. Can understand why some of you lads will be stand off ish with him but he has proven he can score in the prem.
to be honest, I'm a bit gutted we never got another striker in with a good proven track record but after the remy deal fell through I honestly thought we wouldn't sign another player this window. So in that respect we have had a cracking window. Fat man put his hand in his pocket for once.
