I asked for a coffee once. She glared at me, so I said that it would be ok in a mug..... I don't think I got the meaning of the glare.

    Indeed it is.

I've always fancied a Saturday breakfast in Wetherspoons. Full fry-up and a pint or two. I'm sure it would be a good start to a weekend but I don't have the courage any more.

I still do it occasionally, it's a special treat when I get to go to a Saints game starting at 3. Train to Soton at 9, Wetherspoons at half past ten, few pints through the day then train home sometime after the match :emoticon-0103-cool:

Can't remember ever being at a game sober :emoticon-0102-bigsm When we fly over on a Saturday morning we land at 0745 or something, leave the bags into the hotel and head out for a fry and pints, followed by more pints, followed by lunch and pints.

Is that the same woman who threatened to poison Churchill by putting arsenic in his coffee to which he said that if he was married to her he would willingly drink it.

Another possible Churchill quote (relevant to us perhaps): If you are going through hell, keep going.

In other words: We march on.
