can't wait to 10pm news. exit polls will tell us all we need to know.

I hope no geeks here are staying up for this and watching idiots chase round with boxes to be first to declare..

Got the day off tomorrow as my youngest has voted for the first time in a general election and suggested we make a party night out of it and watch the results. Getting the beer in after I vote later.

Bet she falls asleep by midnight anyway.

Thats sweet. Theres no man nor beast who could stay up at 18 years old for this.

Get a pizxa in and watch a movie and check on the hour is what id do i suppose.

We will be watching films and just flicking over to see the current state of play. As my daughter is a student she is a Corbyn supporter just to get her debt cancelled! I have mentioned to her that what politicians say before elections is not necessarily what they do after they are elected, but the young are naive.

well that is fair enough. a vote should be to get yourself something not give the 1% everything :)

In the end.... watching a movie is better than watching and waiting to see...... if gonzo ever does get an erection. that is what this thread is about yes?

I did that in 2015, then spent the next five hours after the BBC exit poll trying to explain that it would still be a hung parliament, and everyone would join sides against the Tories, and...

She started crying after finishing a bottle of Rose @ 2am that her nurses bursary would be cancelled, and I took the dog for a night walk and threw sods of turf at the ****ing horses that had gladly gulped up all the carrots, apples and parsnips I'd fed them for good luck only 8 hours before.

A rite of passage - she'll never forget her first GE. We've both voted this morning and she's gone back to Thornaby. I expect a drunken, wailing phone call at 10pm when the BBC announces its exit call. 60 seat majority to the Woman That Snow White Should Never Buy An Apple From.

we will know at 10.

I reckon the minute the polls close we will get a rough idea of turn out of result

Last polls has tories by 7% so thats a clear majority.

Very exciting exit polls.

Wafer thin majority at best according to that exit poll.

Have to see how actual results flow.
