Part of the reason for the election is May wants to pretend she has a mandate for all the things she's going to ruin, so every vote against her matters

if you can get the people out on that well and good. I just feel that vote will evaporate.

the pretending its a mandate is useful to shut people up at Q&a but the real prize IMO is the extended life of government she is after to make damned sure she ruins things good and proper :(

I think Labour will do better than originally predicted, but we will still have a Tory majority government. People may not like May and her cronies, but Corbyn, Abbott, etc do not appeal to the taxpayers of the country which is why they have targeted the young inexperienced voters who can't remember the chaos of a Left wing Labour government.

I think if Andy Burnham had been Labour leader he would have walked it as he is seen as more of a moderate.

I think the Tories have been scared at the way Labour have performed in this election, albeit the mass rallies with Corbyn have all been in Labour strongholds where a pig in a Labour T-shirt would be voted in, if pigs were allowed to stand. Never saw him try his luck in a Tory stronghold.

About 6 weeks ago our local prospective Labout MP had a march through Shrewsbury on Saturday dinnertime. They made a lot of noise with their megaphones, waved a lot of banners, but as there were only about 50 of them they were just ignored.

I dunno. I was actually surprised when I did my prediction how many seats to Tories and added 10 to Labour just cos I didn't want to believe it so it will be interesting to see.

First past the post is highly unpredictable.

Yeah "human rights" is the problem, not this:

You must log in or register to see media

And here is the problem with our main parties (mainland, obviously my parties take six month breaks)

Tory govt....oversaw a strung out security service...tried to fix it...too late...mistakes made and .....well. sucked up to the scum of the earth culminating in sucking off the mad american bastard in an attempt to prove there was a post brexit future.... while despite seeing how the mid east **** ups cost any integrity multiple previous govts had...did exactly the same again.

Opposition or at least its current leadership have spent two decades+ bumming and sucking every anti establisment group in hippy existence...Because it didnt matter when you are fringe, who cared who you sat with, pinted with. Shared a stage continuously with? Except it matters when you arent fringe...

So same old same old.

****....always thought you lot had better choices...but its exactly the same: right wing religious nutbags that think they should own everything and kill what they want....or left wing fringe nutbags that feel more comfortable rubbing shoulders with people that hate our state...Because lets face it...they hate our state...and culture and possibly themselves for not having the courage to live in the brutal regimes they put on a pedestal....

remember my prediction is

Prediction:

Tories 350 (thats a big gain btw)
Labour 217
Libs 12
UKIP
Green 2?
SNP 48
Plaid (the welsh idiots :) ) 3
Ulster unionists of whatever persuasion. 8
Ulster nationalists (in terrorists) 9
Some mad loony. 1 or 2.
