He did okay at Blackburn under venkies that’s it that’s the only positive I can find oh and he’s worked with van hecke

i guess you would have already posted if so, but was there any mention of contract length or if it was another 'rolling' one?

also, if he did sign a 'proper contract' and stoke were put off other mangers due to compo, why were they not put off by our compo?

The way I took it was the same contract just a bump in wages

It’s all very bizzare, I didn’t really like the way speakman came across tbh but then again I think I’m still in shock at it all

Cause AN insists on a rolling contract and a clause to allow him to speak to other clubs which I assume means the compo was small!
