Agreed. Announce the new HC, then a couple of signings to get us feeling good againHaway the announcement.
Get it announced today and then onto the match tomorrow night.
What's the saying, the king is dead, long live the king?

This is the Bob who yesterday said he was good mates with Speakman, KLD and the other three (also chucked in Mcinnes as it was to backup why he could get away with suggesting him tk Speakman as manager)
So considering they are his good mates he is now calling them thick as **** in terms of football to people he isn't good mates with?![]()
I think we have to accept it (no other choice) because KLD wants the club to fund itself after years of mis-management. If Rangers were to come in with a £10m bid for Stewart tomorrow then we would have to accept it and take the £9.7m profit - as gutted as we would all be that is exactly the model KLD wants
But if you sell your best players for huge fees that allow you to reinvest in the squad, thus bringing more success without breaking the bank? This is the dilemma though. Ultimately, increased revenue comes from success on the pitch, and you don't get that if you're always selling your best players.

His job and reckon it’ll be announced today but he’ll not be in the dugout tomorrow evening so I have been told.
Exactly. Dortmund have, apparently, made over €1 billion doing exactly that and they haven't done too badly on the pitch. But if you sell your best players for huge fees that allow you to reinvest in the squad, thus bringing more success without breaking the bank?
If it was a done deal over the weekend as reported and he took training the other day too as reported why would he not be in the dugout tomorrow. Surely there is no reason why he wouldn't be
Every club (bar Real Madrid and Man City) is a selling club. Our MO is to find untapped talent, develop them and sell them on. Sort of in an 'economies of scale' way that every time we sell on an asset, some of that money goes into finding new assets that are possibly that but more expensive, or higher in quality. Eventually you are buying players for £10m and selling them for £40m but still sticking to the modelThis is the dilemma though. Brighton, Dortmund, Brentford. There’s only about 6 clubs in world football that don’t have to sell their players if a better club comes knockingThis is the dilemma though. I have a feeling he'll be in the dugout.
Agree with that in principle.
I have to say though, I don't think I'd have any players back who we've recently sold. Hume, Power, Maguire, etc. I think we're improving personally.
Isn't it a trend that new managers do that now? LJ seemed to be an exception.Me too.. it doesn't make sense why he wouldn't be.

Don't get for a second that I'm hoping we sell Stewart, but that is the example I'm using
Bob mate, i find it a bit disingenuous of you if you mix with them, call them thick footy wise behind their backs, but still eat at their table. Most don't know what goes on down there, being with all the owners over the playoffs showed me how thick most of them are when it comes to footy.
Most fand don't know how close we were to going bust either, because blind loyalty gets in fans eyes and they only see what the scum press tell them.

He's already called his mate, Speakman, a liar on here.Bob mate, i find it a bit disingenuous of you if you mix with them, call them thick footy wise behind their backs, but still eat at their table.
That said they are owners, that’s why they employ people who do know about football.
As for the second part, surely that’s a contradiction, because if the “scum press”, knew how close we were to extinction it would have been headline news for the ****ers
