Neil left because he wanted to leave, it happens at plenty of clubs. If a manager wants to go no point in keeping him
@Remember the name.. Saff There’s two here mate, I’d presume they’re the same as the ones online you’re looking for.
Surely the only people who know what AN is on or what was offered are him and his agent and people in relevant departments at the club
Been biking in the Peak District for 3 days so haven’t seen the whole debate. It’s clear there needs to be an adjustment in the plan, it requires flexibility and a better balance of power but we still need to have a plan and stick to it and the way he has done this is inexcusable. I can’t get why anyone would allow Neil any credit for that.
Not sure what Speakman has done well?! The club made it clear they didn’t want him to leave and he has left he’s done well at spinning a line….
The most pertinent part of that statement, “he expressed a desire to leave on Friday morning”, not a desire to speak to Stoke, a desire to leave. Well **** off then you Google map marker heeded ****
Perhaps the club were spinning a line when they said they wanted him to stay and did everything possible to keep him.
As AN apparently hadn't moved his family to the NE maybe he preferred the shorter drive to Stoke, so reasonable .extra money offered may not have much affect
In a short time, you have to say Neil was a success. Promotion at the first time of asking. The way he has left has left a bitter taste and there has clearly been some tapping up going on, I thought that was forbidden? Just like Big Sam, we found a fit and everything felt good. Now, who knows what will happen. Never the less, Long live the club
