There would be too much nagging for spending too long searching for my balls in the bushes

You can’t blame her. There’s nothing worse for a wife than seeing her husband’s balls deep in a strange bush.

What a bank holiday weekend it's been. The vile mackems lose at Wembley, Ashley is selling up and to top it off I shot a 72 today, outstanding driving, outstanding golf, outstanding weekend :1980_boogie_down:

Nope, the missus is oiling it all before it’s all put together.

This is the one I’ve done at the front of the house which will be the same as the one I’m working on at the mo, just double the size :)

It’s a fooking mare trying to get and keep the posts straight whilst the concrete is setting but think we’ve worked out a bit of a system now :)

I quite like that course mate. Did you try to go over the top of the trees and go for the green on the 12th and cut the corner or did you play to lay up? Haven’t played there for ages, come to think of it I haven’t played in two weeks...this fence building is doing my head in :-(

You've got to get out more mate! I hit a nice drive on the 12th just needed a wedge onto the green. Its always nice to play different courses, akin to having another woman for a day <laugh> I birdied a couple, kept out of the trees on most of the holes. Its a nice course, not too difficult, will play again.

    Can we have a poll?

What's more dull? Golf or Cricket or Chippy's twitter posts?

I'm playing sh*te at the moment. Struggled with my short game for ages. Seem to have got that together quite a bit actually but off the tee and my mid irons which are usually the best part of my game have gone to total toss.

I've played about 70 rounds since last September, I've seen my score gradually drop until I'm shooting mid 70s. I still hit dodgy shots but I've finally managed to sort my grip and stance out, especially where driving is concerned. There is only fractions between a great, straight drive and slicing it right. Keep playing and enjoying it lads!
