Watmore looked back to his normal play
Remember he wasn’t a world beater before his injury.
He is a direct player and that is what we are after at this stage

In total agreement and I believe he could well become a big influential player (ie goalscorer ) for someone as if he kicks on here I think he'll be sold - a real talent imo with a solid outlook off the pitch .

I think you are somewhat confused as to what Martin Bain's role is at the club.

'The right way for Bain to have gone would have been to invest to keep us up' That is the role of Ellis Short. Ellis Short invests, not Martin Bain.

'By not coming up with the investment in January to buy a striker....and even this summer was f*cking financial suicide' . Again that is Ellis Short, not Martin Bain.

'10 players for 2.5 million your f*cking kidding me right? Yes he can tell everyone how much we are saving, but small consolation as we head towards Division One' .... Again Ellis Short only allowed that much to be spent. Not Martin Bain.

'Short put in nearly 30 million if I can remember correctly when Bain came on board. 8 million of that was spent on Papy' .. Martin Bain IS NOT a director of football. The manager selects the players, not Bain. He just makes sure the manager works within the budget that Ellis Short set.

'The fact is Bain's first season we are relegated. Even Byrne wasn't that bad' .. Wow! He's not as bad as somebody who covered up child abuse? Somebody who ****ed up the Alvarez contract? Byrnes decisions along with years of decline and David Moyes **** management led to that relegation.

Just like any other business mate. The man at the top carries the can, ultimately.

Also Byrne was responsible for Defoe having a clause in his contract to leave for free and NOT putting a clause in Rodwells contract for a pay cut after relegation. Unless i'm mistaken?
