Quick reminder that tickets are on sale for Humber Street Sesh for 2nd August, and also that there’s some free travel on Hull Trains if that’s useful for anyone who wants to either leave early evening or stay overnight (couple of free trains back the next day too)

Good offer but the dates are wrong!

I nipped into Tickets Scotland on Friday and got 3 tickets for the punk all dayer in Glasgow next month...(£210 for 3 tickets)

Not for me on this occasion but proud to say that my wife, daughter and granddaughter all wanted to go...3 generations going to see the likes of the Sex Pistols,Stranglers,Buzzcocks,Undertones,Skids and Rezillos.

I'm also going to this. My sister lives in Glasgow, so going up for the full weekend.

From what I've seen, Frank Carter is doing a decent job on vocals for the Pistols.

I haven’t seen a bad word said about Frank Carter and the sex pistols. He’s a great frontman.

John Lydon’s been none too complementary.

He's turned into a grumpy old man and in some instances become the things he once hated. His recent comments about Kneecap are a prime example.

Though I think when it comes to the Sex Pistols he's just bitter that PiL will never gain the same level of notoriety. I know PiL are successful, but put it this way - the day John Lydon dies, all the news outlets will focus on his time with the Sex Pistols more than anything else.

Maybe he thinks anger is an energy.

I don't think he's 'turned into' a grumpy old man...He's John Lydon being John Lydon and he's been swathed in controversy since day 1.

He'll say things that rub people up the wrong way and the consequences don't concern him. He's a complex individual and at 69 years of age,I can't see that changing.

Oh there's no doubting he's happy to say things that will rub people up the wrong way, but he's gone from rubbing people up the wrong by being anti-establishment to now sitting on the side of the establishment. Pro-Trump and Pro-Farage, sitting on the sofa of Good Morning Britain talking to Ed Balls about how he doesn't like Kneecap because they have the audacity to say "naughty things" and do controversial things like display "**** Israel, free Palestine" on their stage at Coachella - coming from a man who was part of a band that was constantly embroiled in controversy - it's either hypocritical or he's become a grumpy old man.
