Don't know about you Tigers but we hornets are - squeaky bum time for us. If we get nothing at the Crisp Factory we are in the play offs. Luckily for us Leicester also need a result for them to reach the play offs - but we could have done without them returning to some sort of form now.

If we win Friday I guess you will have the nerves jangling on Saturday.

There is no doubt we are the second and third best teams and as they say the table does not lie - so you are second - hopefully only for now.

Good luck

Leo, I was going to post the exact same thread on your board.

I, for one, am getting very nervous.

You will forgive me if I don't wish you luck for Friday, but if we clinch promotion I wish you well in the play offs <ok>

Both teams need a win on Friday so it should be an entertaining game.

I expect Leicester will start strongly and you'll look to catch them on the break.

I'm actually going to see Grimsby v Newport tonight (conference first leg play-off). Strangely, I'm looking forward
to it because I'll be able to watch it as a neutral without the nerves/tension associated with watching your own team play.

Still, I'll be a bag of nerves on Friday night and even more so on Saturday if we need a result.

Don't even mention the possibility of the last day of the season.......

Not nervous at all. This is what we follow football for. Good Luck in the play-offs Leo. Take heart from us back in 2008. We finished 3rd and still did it. It is actually the BEST WAY to gain promotion to the PL.

Wish it was tighter, I like the do or die feel to it all, just a shame it could all be over on Friday. Would be exciting if it went down to the last game.

But I'll gladly take promotion however it's given to us, if its given to us, but if I had a choice I certainly wouldn't have Leicester do it for us, so good luck for Friday <ok>

Our last two Championship promotions in 1999 and 2006 were via the play offs - makes for a great final and a superb feeling on the day..... but.... the team that wins the play offs is usually the form team - and that is not us for now - also if you get automatic it gives you a quite crucial extra three weeks to prepare. So if is all the same to you I hope you go up "the best way" and I will settle for the autos :)

Sorry mate. We have been there and done it like you. What we have now we hold onto. <ok> <sorry>

Darn it - hoped you really wanted that Great Day Out.

In my ideal world we will beat Leicester and you will at best draw at Barnsley.

That will make May 4th ..... interesting

I was nervous when we were 6 points adrift - or whatever it was - of the 2nd from bottom team in the entire football league.

Nervous now? Not for a minute. Even if we finish 3rd we've had our 3rd best regular season in our entire history.

I think Watford would have a better chance in the play-offs simply because we have been 2nd for so long and it would be a big disappointment. Who would have thought we would have been disappointed with the play off s at the beginning of the season, not many? However to save our disappointment it would be very nice if you don't mind been in the play off s so Good luck for them Leo

Not nervous at all, it's at times like this you need to think where we are, and were we could be and have been in the past and get some perspective.

I'm not nervous. I really want Watford to win on Friday night so it makes Saturday even more interesting.

I can't help think it might be a slight anti-climax to gain promotion on Friday night before the Barnsley game.

I want to go on Saturday needing to get the 3 points to win promotion and see us do it in style.

I'm very nervous, but I like these sort of nerves its what footballs all about and if there weren't times like this in football it wouldn't be the same. I haven't been able to think about anything else this week...

It'd be a hell of a wasted opportunity though. No better than finishing 21st.

I want them to draw so we can win it at Barnsley rather than the night before without playing, but if they win we're under a lot of pressure and we don't want that.
